How to change your crib into a toddler bed
Step 1: Remove mattress
Step 2a: Unscrew front rail
Step 2b: Pick up barrel nut
Step 3: Unscrew mattress support
Step 4: Unscrew stabilizer bar
Step 5: Repeat 2-4 on other side
Step 6a: Make sure barrel nut is pushed in the stabilizer bar
Step 6b: Screw in stabilizer bar
Step 7: Screw in mattress support
Step 8: Repeat on the other side
Step 9: Put mattress in place

Thank you for this video! My husband told me to wait until he got home but I didn’t listen and got stuck half way through! Such an easy video to follow and I did it!!! Also my son has the same crib, sheets and wall color too funny!! Thanks again!

Ive got the delta emerson 4 in 1 crib and this worked for the daybed conversion. Make sure the matress height is at the lowest setting. I lost my manual so this was a blessing to find! Thank you for the speedy, clear and concise instructions.

Everything in my instruction manual says to NOT use the toddler bed without a “conversion rail”. I see you did not use one, am I missing something?

The conversation rail is part K, came with original build.

This is really the conversion to a day bed, not a toddler bed. A toddler bed would have the rail as you noted.

We have the Delta Children Gateway 4 in 1 crib, these directions helped so much than reading the manual. They are a little different, the Gateway crib only has one stabilizer screw on each side but other than that everything was the same!! We’re waiting for the guardrail to come in and then we’re set!! Thank you so much!!!

I guess not all of them have a stabilizer bar? I got a Delta model at target, and I did the first part of this, without unscrewing the mattress support, and the whole front part just fell right off.😅

At 1:05 mins, you may need to loosen one of the lower stabilizing screws (which holds the frame) just a little to make it easier. And only on one side.

Does the daybed option hold a twin mattress or is this still for the toddler mattress? I see you put the same mattress back in but I wanted to use a twin size for my 6 year old.
