On one had, this is a Tencent product. On the other hand, they used real world guns with their real world names (for the most part), so I have to give them huge props for that. Depending on how aggressive the monetization will be, I might try this game out.
Like having the real name of the guns make the game somewhat better? It’s just the names f**k damn it stop crying Also, since em are not from california, em will have no problems to use the real names, not like activision that as i know, even if they wanted they couldn’t pay license to use the names because of california laws Anyway, we need less people like you that crys when a game doesn’t have the real names
The whole real name/accurate design thing is usually because of Californian laws and American copyright laws. Considering most of our modern FPS games are being made in Californian studios and numerous gun manufacturers started being anal about their gun designs, games like COD are required to use different names and small alterations to the guns. It's why games developed outside the US could use accurate gun names for numerous guns. Plus, Tencent likes to copy shit anyways, I'd be more surprised if they didn't use real world names/designs.
@@spartan8terthats not a justification. They could move their jurisdiction to any state or country if they want. But Cod developers and others like Dice decided to dismiss fans to the core. I'm not a gun owner, but all these DAVINCI 93R, LACHMANN 555 OR SOME BOLT ACTION 7,62 AK PREDATOR or smth is total child diarrhea nonsense
@@1stSand who said I was justifying it? I hate it as much as the next guy, I’m saying that’s the unavoidable problem. Also moving jurisdictions aren’t as easy as you think. You’re talking about moving entire operations. These are trademarked firearms, not figurines. You bet your ass manufacturers have that much reach too. Also, funny you should say that, because DICE has more accurate gun designs/names than COD, even in BF2042 90% of the guns are accurately named and functions the same.
Barrel is way too short and there isn't the iconic AK-74 muzzle break at the tip of it. It also has the front sight bolted onto a full length gas tube which was only a thing for some Carbine models of the AK-100 series that came out in the 1990s. The black polymer front handguard also looks weird and out of place with the wood pistol grip and bakelite magazine both being a shade of brown. It's a full on Frankenstein gun that mashes the back half of the AKS-74 with the front half of an AK-105. They should have just reused the AKM model and added a AK74 style muzzle break, magazine, and skeletonized metal side folder stock. Would have looked far more accurate to the real thing
Reload animation is weird. Had to pull the bolt back to the bolt hold then press the bolt hold to chamber a round... Now it looks like a horribly made Zastava
The magazine sizes are weird as an example the bizon has a helical magazine with 64 rounds of 9x18 mm makarov or 53 rounds of 9x19mm parabellum while in this video it holds 32 rounds like a normal SMG
The audio design is a bit weird. There's way to much sound when inspecting, but not that much when actually reloading. The ping of the metal, the sounds of the springs and so on are just missing.
@@empire-classfirenationbatt2691 Every FPS game has at least 1 or 2 guns that are extra just like that. Modern Warfare II 2022 has the 9mm Daemon. Battlefield 1 has the Peace Keeper, it's a showmanship pistol.
@@iHubJ232K I fucking cringed at the Daemon. But at least the operator engaged the safety. And the Peacekeeper’s a single action and can be uncocked so that one sorta gets a pass. Decocking a 93R with the meat of your finger? Nah man lmfao that one will actually hurt or get you kicked out, not to mention ineffective considering the springs of these pistols. Just engage safety and decock lol.
Hey at least they aren’t doing the M4 flick mag reload like they animated on Ghost Recon Breakpoint. I almost can’t use AKs in that game cause it looks sooooo wrong. Even did it with one of the bull-pup rifles.
@@MrGameFreak1300 The selector lever has been modified with a cutout to hold the bolt open. What this guy is doing is pulling the bolt back while also moving the selector lever to safe to hold the bolt open, changing mags, and then dropping the selector lever. It's a more confusing Iraqi reload in spirit.
I'm not doubting the description of the ASH-12 but I find it absurd that people are using that thing in CQC. That thing will absolutely blow someone's ears out indoors.
The design for the ShAK-12 is rather like that of the 9x39 round, high damage at short effective range with reduced (debatable) over-penetration for less collateral damage. So in most ways it is a CQB-focused design.
Why does every game need to add camera shake for every small movement?? Like, grab a mag, camera shake. Put mag in, camera shake. Put hand on gun, camera shake. Brush gun lightly, camera shake. Inspect gun, camera shake.
@@joaovictorborges1562 Camera movement is to simulate your eyes. And unless you're absolutely beating on a gun while reloading (wasted energy) or just bobbing your head along, there is not that much eye movement in reloading.
Pretty good starting lineup, I do notice an interestingly low magazine capacity on some of the automatic weapons, though I assume that can be amended through weapon modification.
Got my hands on the alpha, unfortunately you cannot collapse the Uzi stock. There's lots of other stocks you can collapse/extend, but not the Uzi's. :(
Last I saw the SR-3 was in BF4. A great smg I remember. Glad to see it in a modern fps. Also glad to see the VSS, AWM(COD Ghosts), G3(BF3) and the Oden(MW19).
@@Pinupopinion well in BF4 is was classified as an smg. Or PDW rather. Kinda a mix up like the MTAR. In BO2 it was an AR. In Ghosts it was a SMG. In BF4 it was considered a Carbine.
For all the people that roast this game saying its as bad as 2042, guess what you paid $50-70 (depending on the platform) for 2042, this game is free, appreciate the game for what it is instead of complaining, certainly give the devs tips for improvement but dont go roasting it like a burnt turkey, its a free game and its very good for a free game at that, the only free pc game id put above it is arena breakout infinite
I know but my point is why the default mag is so low at least they can make it 25 and btw the mag attachments significantly hurt the handling of the weapon
@@hm_kw1124great balance decision, bcs it's most likely will be №1 TTK in the game and it default mag size adds some balance and skill gap for an already quite powerful weapon
Not sure why a Mini 14 is in the game let alone as a marksman rifle lol. Mini14's fire 5.56 rounds and are mostly just ranch rifles for dealing with gofers
I’ve been a bit exhausted of all the tactical reloads we’ve had in modern fps games recently so it’s a bit nice to see some pretty simple reloads in this game even tho there still is a few of the tactical retention reloads on some guns.
SMG is equal to Riflws!!!!!! WTF?! SMG45 (45ACP): Muzzle Velocity 500 m/s (Instead of 270 m/s) Damage: 26 Armor penetration 40! (in reality, it is very, very bad) Range 20m M4A1 (5.56x45): Muzzle Velocity 575 m/s (Instead of 880 m/s) HOW?! WHY?! Damage: 20!!!!!!!! WTF?! Armor penetration 32! WHAT?! Range 30m (tooooooooooooooo short, 10 times short!)
When ARs & M16s are emptied the bolt release lever is not a switch with a click when pressed, it releases the bolt forward with loud clack. Don't have to be a weapon expert to know this.
These animations don't really feel satisfying for me. Also sounds seem to be out of sync as well. Anyway since they have got the G3A3 in the game so i guess they passed the vibe test...
6:46 - Correction: this shortened variant is called AKS-74U. AKS-74 is a full length rifle with a folding stock. Edit 7:49 - The reliability of the AK-12 is highly debatable. The safety lever now travels so far that it can block the trigger if disengaged too forcefully. The overcomplicated trigger group with an added burst mechanism doesn't help in reliability either and neither does the gas tube, which (unlike on older AK models) is non-removable which makes cleaning the gun more difficult. Also, AK-12 is only one of the main weapons of the Russian military on paper. It being a relatively new gun in combination with the high attrition in Ukraine resulted in AK-12 being much less commonly seen in the hands of soldiers than the 1990s AK-74M, or the Soviet era AK-74 and sometimes even AKM rifles.
@@SimplyTheSlothMaybe for balancing? But you can also slap on its correct mag size via an attachment, and this game allows you to fill out every attachment slot
Some of these animations need some serious revision, new sound work, and the models of these guns need some tweaking. So many of the charging handles are extended outrageously. Not only do they look gross, but the real-life benefits are minimal for the ways they get caught on clothing and obstructions in the environment. Guns are sleek for good reasons. Nitpicky, yes, but it irks me.
AKS-74 is actually supposed to be an AKS-74u, though I think that rear sight block looks the same as the AKM's, which makes the whole front end of the gun look wrong. Also the rate of fire is very wrong, but I think they did that on purpose. Neither the 74u or the AKM have a bolt-hold-open. It will close on an empty magazine. The SKS looks alright, but I have some strong words for whoever did the reload animations. I wish they had the classic P90 look, and I hate the rail extending past the barrel, but I guess it exists. Didn't watch the rest of them.
@totalguardian1436 The Krebs safety is pretty nice. Had one on my own AK. That's an aftermarket thing, though. The AKM didn't have that. The SKS in game is loaded through the bottom of the magazine or single loaded through the top. It's not wrong, exactly, but they could've used stripper clips instead, and it would've been so much nicer.
It's still in the alpha stage and test but i'm gonna to give it a try as soon a public beta is live. I know the risks behind of a f2p game (cheaters and absurd money-hungry contents as the two major issues) yet...i'm thrilled to try it. And if it isn't good or playable, i can delete it easily (also two friends of mine are looking for it, and i'm curious to know how the cross-play will be and if there is any sort of cross-platform progression...i can either have it on pc or ps5)
i like how the SR-3M is in the smg category even though it uses the 9x39 rifle round, while the AS Val which its based off of is in the assault rifle category
i always complained that ak reloads always use the same animation in a way with using a mag to throw the other one. im never going to complain again cuz god showed me that it can be worse and people can fuck up this badly when it comes to reload animations 7:34 only compalin i have besides they got lazy by doing the battlefield 4 thing and reused the same pistol reload. the rest of the guns were ok, some were great.
Oh okay, the tube magazine shotguns correctly count and animate the shell in the chamber, but the Saiga is cursed with 5 shells no matter what, even if reloading with a shell in the chamber! So annoying. Makes using guns with small magazines like the Saiga really annoying because you're missing out on having 6 shots to use when partial reloading instead of 5, which is a big difference compared to 30 and 31.
they look great because they're based on the studios past work on cod mobile where they had access to the cod mw series animations. there's still an ongoing dispute if they actually had rights to use them in a competing product (almost 0% chance) and activision just isn't doing anything besides put their fingers in their eyes and covering their eyes because they'd rather not ruin their relationships with tencent who is their point of access for chinese markets.
@@dan_loeb the CoD producers arent doing anything but snorting blow out of some hooker's asshole while the devs' talents are being wasted on Niki Minaj skins. At least now their work is being used by people who know what people actually want in a shooter. Also this game is made by TiMi Studio Group, of which Tencent is the parent company so the ownership of the dev's work is a moot point.
Played it, pretty good. They need to get rid of bots in the Battlefield modes though and will have to see how crazy they go with their specilists/heros shenanigans considering it seems they might go the Rainbow 6 Siege route with how many they're insinuating.
For the QSZ-92G: "The improved model features a double-feed mechanism." Do they mean to say two-round burst? 'Cause last I checked, a double-feed is a malfunction.
2:05 in and the sounds are terrible. Pistols don't make that much noise when you slowly wave them around, and the Desert Eagle slide release sounds like the operator is racking the slide rather than hitting the release as seen in the animation. Off to an awful start for this, for some reason, beloved BF2042 knockoff. When are game devs gonna figure out range doesn't mean shit compared to damage? Balancing SMGs and ARs is actually quite easy. Give SMGs less damage and range but better recoil control. Derrr...
@totalguardian1436 That's cool. Even then, still pathetic and overly done. Now address the rest. Such as the goofy balancing they have, like every other shooter. The fact that it's literally the Norinco CQ to an M16 in regards to how similar it is to 2042. Dice could and should honestly sue them. Makes me wonder if they even have the right to use the real names.
the developer worked on cod mobile. the beta phase it was even more obvious they were using assets from infinity ward. they've tweaked a few things to try to hide it better, but it's still pretty obvious
I'll just leave it here for everyone who complain about AKM and AKS-74U reloads - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yWRng7LGu0A.htmlsi=spXyOE7UCjJYk25U
Those AK reloads tho. I get wanting to add cool future AK's with bolt catches, but I can't get over how it doesn't just lock back when it's empty. I feel like that kinda ruins the whole point of the bolt catch.
There is no bolt catch . You gun soytube gamers cry over anything. He locks the bolt behind the safety . Inserts a fresh mag and sends the bolt home after releasing the safety
Nearly every mass-produced AK design does not have a bolt hold-open feature. There are some magazine designs that lock the bolt back when the mag is empty, but because of the aforementioned lack of a bolt-hold open in the actual gun, when the mag is removed the bolt will still close. Using the safety to keep the bolt back/holding the bolt back a la Iraqi reload, is the only way the bolt will stay open without a magazine in.
@@ItsBunChano he doesn't there is no animation showing him pulling the bolt back and lifting up the safety. It looks more like the safety automatically locks after a empty mag and the operator has to disengage it as if its a bolt catch.
I've Used to play the most delta force game when I was kid before. Shame they're become a generic shooter nowadays. It's literally battlefield and call of duty clone to me. Similar to the concord and ascendant were just generic.
They technically don't. Most of the AKs in the game have a modified fire selector lever that has a cutout to hold the charging handle back. Essentially what the guy is doing is pulling the charging handle, locking it back by putting the fire selector on safe, changing the magazine, and dropping the bolt by moving the fire selector. It's a very scuffed version of the Iraqi reload in essence.
2:12 The worst nightmare of all revolver owners is when someone starts to play with the cylinder by spinning it quickly The next animation should be throwing the gun into the trash.
Kind of another hum-drum MW19 wannabe. Only a few animations stand out as unique. The sounds, though are generally awful. They don't give you that all-important feeling of moving metal-on-metal under spring tension.
Sorry i dont mean to sound rude but i dont understand what you are trying to say. I think its better if you just write in your native language and let youtube translate your comment instead
doesn´t even look that good....and what´s with this unrealistic rattling sfx when you inspect the gun...also massive smoke clouds with every shot and especially out of the barrel... the only thing this game got is the real names (for most) of the guns but that´s it.
Unfortunately, it's just a cheap copy of Battlefield 2042 with hero based characters an in game UI looking almost the same as Battlefield 2042. The movement are Battlefield 2042, the animation are MW2019 like. The guns looks almost like stolen/taken assets from other games. The only "good" thing is that the game is f2p and (still) not a p2w. If you have money, buy a game that has a soul or if you're broke, play The Finals, XDefiant (mid but accessible). This is a Tencent game, be aware of that
The problem behind Tencent is his monetization system. Just look at his biggest games, CodM. CodM became a souless mobile FPS (I don't deny still one the best) with cosmetics spam, p2w skins and no identity between those skins, but while in beta, it looked like a traditional CoD game.
