Honestly, @@LEEROY_UK is right. Everything I've seen of this leans way more toward the worst aspects of 2042 than the original Delta Force, BF3, or BF4. I don't get all the praise other than it seems like DICE shit the bed so bad setting things 5 steps back that something that's only 3 steps back is somehow now "good" by comparison. All of which are still steps back from even BF4. - Effective 3p reticles for vehicles - Every bullet is a tracer - "Operators" - That HUD design - No Hardcore mode (maybe in full release tho?)

LMAO these side grips on guns are ridiculous. Show me ONE high speed tier 1 team that uses that crap. The running speed is also quite funny for a "Tactical shooter". Have you guys ever tried sprininting in full kit? Even the high speed guys with tiny plate carriers and minimal setups dont really do that crap and if they do its in very short bursts.. Im sure its "Tacticool" to the average COD enthusiast though.

i played the alpha, it feels like a cod/ battlefield mix, its not really tactically shootery, it doesn't feel like tarkov or squad or anything like that, i'd look at it as a more in-depth battlefield/cod game

Idk ive been playing the beta and this game just feels so hollow. Tired of having characters with their own gadgets and abilities for everything. The sound is super flat, maps are annoying, time to kill is way too fast for a bf style mode. Everything just feels so floaty and zippy. And then it has like 15 f2p currencies and events slobbered on top of it just like any other eastern f2p game. Honestly kind of annoyed they dug delta force out of the grave for this.

Yes it is. BATTLEFIELD is well ahead in many ways when it comes to all-out-war chaos. But DELTA FORCE's gunplay is very satisfying in its own way. MAX out one of those top weapons and you will see what I mean.

Much more akin to 2042 than BF4. Every bullet is a tracer, vehicles have functional 3p reticles, the HUD is nearly a rip, the setting is nearly the same, and it has operators. All some of the worst aspects of 2042, too.

No, a cheap Tencent/chinese made F2P hero shooter, with P2W guaranteed to be implemented down the line. They bought the rights to the name and made a game that has nothing to do with Delta Force.

No, the IP was sold to Tencent. NovaLogic died back around 2008-2009 iirc, officially defunct in 2016.
