You are a lifesaver! I read the manual, couldn't understand it. Watched the DElta video - not for the right kind of faucet. You nailed it! No more cold showers!
This is a great video! I went to the Delta site and they did not have this type of faucet to show how to make the adjustments. Now I can have a hot shower. So thankful that you made this video!
Thank you very much for the help. I do not have this exact same model of the Delta brand but he gave me an idea of how actually I adjust the temperature by pulling out the plastic and turning into the left just like you did but without having to unscrew on the middle, where you open the water thank you very much!
Awesome video but I struck out right away as even by undoing the set screw, the handle would not come off and the faucet was only installed a few months ago.
I have the same faucet, but my water goes from hot ( just enough to withstand the heat) to boiling which is right at the cold sign. The handle goes from off to the half way mark which is straight up. How do I add cold water? (Especially in the summer heat)
Chris, You are brilliant!!! The engineer who came up with this design belongs in a Russian gulag. It was probably a result of a bunch of product litigation attorneys as a way to avoid any potential lawsuits from some remtard getting scalded from turning on the hot water all the way.
When you open the faucet it's coming 1st low pressure but cold water I need low pressure for hot water is it possible with this same faucet. Thank you sir.
I bought a house that has this exact model but I cannot seem to find it, can you please tell me what model it is? I was trying to do just what you showed in this video and I broke that copper color little piece in the middle and now I don’t know how to fix it
