I have been looking for some dnb like this for a while. So far I have only heard the newer songs with female leads that sound awesome but surprisingly this older stuff is just what I was looking for.

All it is is just massive drops and slides all the way through, with no structure or attitude. Any 12 year old with a computer can do that. We need more songs like "Empire" which have massive drops and slides but also the structure, attitude, proper chords, an epic bass, mid and treble, a beautiful lead and of course Delta Heavy as the artist.
Lockie Kennedy wrong. Not every 12 year old can do that. It's so simple to say that. Have you ever tried to create something with similar sounds and structure? You'll see how well this is done. If creating this track is easy, you'll see how easy it actually is to create a mind-blowing melody. But I agree with your statement that we need more tracks like Empire. Epic melody, awesome risers and massive bass all combined into one with that certain delta heavy vibe.
