I love this jacket, best I've ever owned. I hunt and hike in this in the colder months living in Canada. Honestly I thought the material was going to rip getting snagged on branches and things, but no. It's deceivingly tough for how soft and flexible the fabric is. Buddy in the video is right, adjust base layers according to how cold it is and you'll never be cold in this sucker. Love all the pockets and their placements, sleeves are very long on these coats which I like. And this extra fabric hand slip on the end of sleeve is super nice too. I can't see anybody being disappointed buying this coat.
Best jacket I ever had. Now for about 2 years. Its still like on first day. The quality is perfect and its super comfortable from 10 till -10 and I am normaly the guy who is freezing from 20 😜 Even mountainbiking on 5C is no problem - when it is getting hot under the jacket, the arm zippers help out. Love it!
How does it fair with water? Does it keep you dry in the snow/slush? Looking to get this for snowboarding because i jeep ripping my other snow gear, but not sure it can keep me dry for a full day getting blasted with slush and power. Feedback is appreciated.
I don‘t use it for snowboarding. When you have hard contact with snow it might get wet inside. But it is very water proove and even in snow rain I never got wet. I still use it 😊
Been testing and using UFPRO gear for several years now, they gave me a Mil discount from the beginning (when you ordered from their homebase/no US dealers.) hands down best cold combat gear going. sizing is old european standards so it runs small for Americans,
@@ufprogear thanks for that discount. Finally I could make the purchase throught paypal and a card of Santander Bank. Ing is terrible🤦🏼♂️. My order has continued the travel from Liepzig. It will arrive to Madrid this tuesday december 10th. If Eagle isn't better option I will send you back the jacket and purchase OL 3.0. Just need to try Eagle in XXL because the dealer here in Alcorcón (Madrid) only had the XL and it was squeezing my chest, and the OL XXL were too much big for my 1.81 meters tall.
I think it is depending on what kind of jacket are you looking for. Ace and Eagle are more adjusted to the body. OL for me in XXL was like a parachute🤣. And I'm a european medium policeman with 1.81 meters tall and 93kg.
Very nice video and nice jacket. I’m torn apart between the steel grey and the oliv version. And also one question. I normally wear clothing in size M, sometimes L if the sleeves are to short. I am 1,96m high and I am very thin. If I want to wear a sweeter or something under the jacket, which size should I get? I’m thinking about size xl
Jacket is great. But must be combined with OL 3.0 pants or any other winter pants with high waist. Back of jacket is short, could say very short. Good if combined with high waist winter pants or warbelt, but with standard pants wind will get on your back, especially if you will need to bend down, rappel, ascend fire stairs etc. And take one size up if you want to get 3 layers under it, not just two thin ones.
Hello, I am the happy owner of a delta ace plus gen tactical jacket. For static missions and in degraded weather (cold snow rain) I have just acquired the OL 3.0 delta. It looks very good. I haven't tried it in the field yet because I'm asking myself a question. Maybe you will have an answer to give me. Indeed, on the ace, the wrist warmers have an opening to easily access its watch. I'm quite surprised not to find this great opening on OL 3.0. My question is this a manufacturing defect or is there really no opening on the wrist warmers?
Hello everyone, I would like to know how to get such a jacket, please. I want to buy one. I live in Denmark. I want one of this generation. Can you help me by giving me an address or email to contact the shopping center via the Internet?
I know what you are saying. I am living next door to you(Qatar) ,but coming from a country with -27 celcius ( no wind chill). With a blizzard(whiteout) and a wind of 50kph ,the actual feel is like -47 Celcius. I use to be part of a special unit that was specialised in mountain operations all year round ,away from civilization for weeks at the time . The quality of the thermal gear makes all the difference.
Softshell jackets are nice. However, they all seem to have overlooked one simple reality. They melt easily. If you are in a hazardous enviorment includeing hot brass, burning embers from cigaretts, campfires or burning buildings they will soon show this shortcoming. old army field jackets didn't hsve this problem....
The Delta OL 3.0 jacket is suitable for temperatures down to -25º C if you are physically active and produce heat. In case you won't move much, the jacket is suitable for temperatures up to -10º C. The comfort zone also depends on the quality of the underwear and the number of layers worn under the jacket 😎🤙
