Ok, hot day in May here in Texas...Mother's Day actually... so I mowed and did yard work, came in showered then sat to watch Hallmark, Under an Autumn Moon. This song spurred me to look it up. Now here I am, 59 year old guy with teary eyes. Love the feeling. Happy Mother's Day to all. Lost mine when I was 13 but she gave me love of music and this song was her gift today. Love you, Mom.
It's really annoying to know someone in a band and to look at the views like "why are they not huge stars yet".... I don't think the country world is quite ready for these guys but I'll be damned if they aren't pound for pound the most talented group in country music. They have 4 vocalist that could be huge solo artist in multiple genres. I know there time is coming. I just want more people to hear this amazing music right now.
Bands/musicians only become "huge stars" if they are approved by the Luciferian Freemasons and Jesuits. Only music that promotes a Luciferian agenda pushing their lies, deceptions, and hoaxes is allowed to "make it big".
I truly feel in love with this song once I saw Under the Autumn Moon Movie. It was the perfect song for the movie. I highly recommend seeing the movie.
Shadows of my own up-bringing and adult life; fell in love with it by the second bar. May you be blessed with continued success. Greetings from Alberta, Canada.
I will agree with you I saw this movie the other day and of course I fell in love with the movie but this song was and is amazing. I downloaded it and I keep listening to it. This song was perfect for the movie
My husband and I actually got married before the pandemic. We both grew up in the country of NC. I lived grew Hampstead and he grew up in Rocky Point NC. I have been a fan and have actually met Grant. My uncle Glenn knows his mom. This song just reminds me of our wedding. He proposed before the pandemic and we both decided to get married before everything shut down. My Mom took me shopping for a wedding dress and I found one for $40 and shoes for $70. I had a 60's looking vibe that wanted to achieve and it was amazing. This song just reminded me of the feeling and how much i love him.
This is one of the reasons I feel in love with this song. It was perfect for the movie and of course I also feel in love with the movie as well and I keep watching it.
Are they a smaller/independent band with an independent label? If so, I would imagine it is harder to breakthrough to the mainstream. But yes, great song!
also dont you think every song is just a different band I always that about them, that way you get songs like bottom of the river, but also dancing in the graveyards which and so on they have more than one sound which is awesome is not like coldplay (I like them no hate here) that when you hear a song from them you know is them even without Chris voice on yet
April 30th 2023 in March I had the pleasure of picking up the members of Delta Rae. I drive for Lyft and I took them to an aqua golf place that was closed. After discussion I found a new place for them to go Oasis Fun Center and I took them there. I had not heard of Delta Rae before this. Thank you for introducing me to you and I have been a fan ever since. These are great people! Thank you!
they would play this a lot when I worked at David's Bridal and I would honestly tear me up everytime, her voice is so amazing and the lyrics are so cute
We play this song where I work and I love it when it comes on and I am not a country fan, at all. But Delta Rae...you are the exception. This song fills my heart with so much joy.
This band is sooooo underated. Love this song - been trying to find the band on CD but have so far not been successful. I found the CD on their own website finally. Back story on why this song has real meaning for me personally. Way, way back in the early 1980's my husband left me for my 15 yo next door neighbor. We owned a house so in order for me to keep it with just one income I had to get a roommate. The roommate was someone I worked with at the time. Her name was Patty Weaver - I have long since lost touch with her, but I digress, long story short - she had a friend named Scott McKay whose wife had just recently left him - Him and I got together, and we had an on/off relationship for many years. I lived in the suburbs and he lived in the country quite a ways away from me but we managed to be together for a long time. Fast forward to many years later he moved away, got married again and ended up passing I did not see him for many years between when he moved and passed away. I still think of him often and felt he was the love of my life - I still miss him and the 1st time I heard this song all my memories of him came rushing back to me.
I'm enjoying this country music vibe, but I'm missing the "dark side" (and all the details that made me love the band!)... yeah yeah, I know they are in a country music record label, but c'mon this band is so freaking talent and unique, so please, after this "Debut EP", could you please, bring back the mixed up styles?
Lilith Page I understand how you feel. Trust me. But they had to find a lane because the other side didn't take them in. I'm worried about country taking them in too because of the strong political views they have. But no doubt these guys should be famous
I like the new sound as well but its not exactly the same. I love Liz and Brit but Im missing the guys being the lead on a few. But if you like the darker side, look up a video of them saying hitch a ride. Its a new song and darker.
I understand your perspective, the darkness gives them an edge, & tones down the corny-ness factor. Their music Perfectly illustrates SouthEastern VA (where I've always lived), North & South Carolina vibe. Lots of colonial era colleges, & old plantations dating back to the 1800's. The whole region feels like it's haunted.
Ohhh I just simply love you guys! After about two minutes of a video, I realised I was just smiling the whole time. It's so good to hear you again. Somehow relieving for me, like I am back home if you know what I mean.
This is a great song!! Heard it on the radio yesterday, glad its already on Spotify. Ran through a bunch of videos to find this one so I could share it with my mom (she doesn't like acoustic ones)
I saw this band at Boots and Hearts 2017 in Canada and let me tell you they rocked it!! The talent level in this band is off the charts if you ever get the chance to see them DO IT!!
