Same here, I think It's so peaceful and beautiful and it deserves a lot more love than what it gets

Field of hopes and dreams is an amazing song and will always have a special place in my heart since it got me into Deltarune and Undertale in the first place(I absolutly love video game music) but a lot of people tend to overlook scarlet forest, which is pretty sad. It, too, is an amazing song with a certain atmosphere to it I havn't heard before.

just try to study why certain artist use certain instruments and tempos to convey emotion theirs a lot of documentaries out there for it experience is the best teacher

@@niomet Same here, I'm around the same age and while I'm sure by now you have more experience, I will try to give some tidbits from my own experience in writing music. The instrumentation does help alot in conveying and dictating the type of mood a piece has. I would recommend physically writing down what instruments you think would evoke x feeling. If you have a notation program, or a DAW, you can have someone give feedback as you try out different things. If you want I can even give a link to a website that has some great methods that have helped me in writing my own music. It covers more than just instrumentation but I think that portion of it could help alot

I don't think this counts as a composition since the song already existed, this is an arrangement. It's still wonderful of course

Yeah, it would kind of fit in Ori. Probably the area in Inkwater Marsh where the song “Overlooking the Mill” would play, or when you go to Wellspring Glades.

I think the trick is to make the point where the song loops less clear so that you can't as easily notice when it happens, which is much more effective when the loop itself happens over a longer time.

Yes! Now that I think about it, it really reminds me of Ori and the Blind Forest, but with that solid Deltarune vibe.
