I absolutely love how this fight reuses almost every single Spamton attack that goes unused in the files, and even the one that didn't make it into the NEO fight from his first battle, the Jumping Spamtons.
what's worrying is normally seeing Snowgrave kills the target. There is a chance that Kris is no longer in this story, and the Soul has no more reason to worry, it has full control of it's vessel now.
One aspect of Spamton I feel doesn't get enough attention is how his need to be "BIG" ends up working against him. In the OG Neo fight, his attacks have more bullets on the board than any other fight. This allows the player to easily gain huge amounts of TP. Giga has pushed this aspect overboard. Not only does Spamton STILL insist on BIG SHOTS that give tons of TP if you stay unharmed, but TP is more important in this fight than any of the canon fights, making his BIGNESS more self-defeating than ever.
as someone said from the inspiration for this fan game. “You know, I was wondering how you'd keep Noelle from just bowling over Spamton. She does 2400 damage to him even with his defense risen up, even without Snowgrave. Putting him in GIGA instead of NEO... that's certainly one way to do it.l
The point is that noelle got so strong that not even the giga body can defeat her, althrough, one thing i was wondering, why doesnt spamton giga do like gigaqueen and throw noelle off the platform?

He wanted to fight Kris of course but seeing them frozen is just something Berdly didn't actually want. As much as he hates Kris that is not a fate Berdly wants for Kris. (Also I love the subtle detail of that hole in the ice, it's to show that the Player's Soul broke outta Kris's body and entered Noelle's body, thus allowing her to use the Yellow Soul form in the Giga Spamton fight to defend herself)
Berdly : Ok you lowlife intelligence buffoon it's time to give you an absolute defeat!. Noelle : Should we kill him Kris?. 😌 Berdly : Wait what?..... Noelle : Or should I freeze you instead?. 😌 Berdly : Noelle, what is happening to you!?.
Ok but can we talk about how organic the dialogue is? Most fan games seem to base their games off the fandom version of the characters and as such, make the games feel... Out of character. This game understands the characters and knows how their dialogue flows. Queen especially impressed me, they really nailed everyone!
Holy shit, "did i put too much flavor text in the city" is SUCH a queen thing to say, if you showed that line to someone who only played like once they probably couldn't tell it wasn't real
I like how accurate this is and how this could fit in the game, considering Spamton will go to unspeakable lengths to change his fate and how terrifying Noelle's potential is.
you know what was weird? when the player booted up the game, Spamton's dumpster has Sans's face spray-painted on it, but the when they open it again for practice mode, it is gone. i would also like to note how much i loved Spamton's references to fangames and Undertale
I love when in normal mode, Noelle kills Spamton, but in practice mode the original starwalker just says “GG EZ” like a pro gamer and skips all the other dialogue as a giga chad

This just puts into perspective of just how terrifyingly powerful Noelle gets in a Snowgrave run. In a regular playthrough, Giga Queen effortlessly defeats the party by spilling her acid over them, and they had to use the power of everyone just to stand toe to toe with her. Here? Noelle takes on Giga Spamton by herself and even destroys him in the end. And Spamton is a lot more insane compared to the Queen, it honestly felt like Queen wasn't even taking that fight seriously until the very end once she realised that she was losing, Spamton just goes all out and does everything to kill you here. Makes you wonder just how much stronger Noelle will become.
The Queen really didn't take the fight too seriously, she did it like what she does on the fighting game with Kris, meanwhile Spamton is a freaking crazy puppet who goes all out just for that little [SOUL]

I feel people are finally starting to get what the snowgrave route REALLY is and this mod is just so great. It's hard but not for the sake of being hard. It's a very interesting conflict of the two people who are being controlled.
the way things ended may seem like the whole main cast lived but to me it seems that Kris actually died and now the soul has full reign over Kris puppeting their corpse essentially. or i could be wrong
Because Noelle left the party after Kris got frozen then the fact that the soul didn't split says that he's still living, just very injured and frostbitten
how is this so good?! especially the spamton giga fight, its all so accurate in story and dialogue and the sprites are all so good looking! if it was in the game as an official update, i wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. they even have starwalker in practice mode, I can tell how much effort and love they put into this fangame!
Not true. The player can't control a dead body as that would be impossible because of the game over screen you get when you ralsei and Susie run out of hp. Also can't use "but you have 0 hp" because when a battle end and someone is knocked out they gain hp Edit: sorry

I love this the tringle of the snowgrave group breaks because kris gets snowgraved here and i allways loved snowgrave cuase spamton has a lot to do with it even tho noelle never meets him but now here the angle finnaly fights the salesman man i love timeline shenanigans like this

I like to think that this is what could happen if the player forgot to get the thorn ring for Noelle,this way she might not have full control over her snowgrave, which she may be able to use if she was given the jevilstail (theorically speaking),and accidentally freeze kris instead, which then leads to this storyline
The fact snowgrave existed and was real.. is pretty crazy. I know Toby fox is a madman, but that was definitely the most out of left field thing he could’ve done. It definitely made deltarune its own thing, instead of just deltarune 2. I cannot wait for this to come out, even if we have to do another kickstarter
This is really accurate to the game and how the dialogue works and the story makes sense. The battle patterns were completely original and amazing too, there are some off things in some aspects but you can look over it because this is so amazing with bunch of original references.
I can't tell if the ending's better or worse than the official Snowgrave. All the Lightners are alive (somehow, I guess the soul can override Kris's own life force) but who brought the Cyber World inhabitants to Castle Town? Oh wait. No one told Queen about it.
No one got invited. Unless Ralsei still convinces the queen somehow actually... doesn't this imply Ralsei is stuck too? IF he came there like the lightners did.... unless he just... has teleportation magic
This in my opinion is a better ending (I’m not talking about writing quality). Berdly is alive, nobody major is dead, hell Spamton was able to break it through to Noelle that she’s in grave danger if she continues like this. More events lined up positively all because of a single moment of resistance from Noelle
I don't think it was resistance... it was more of an accident. There was no dialogue that implied she knew what she was doing. She said the exact same thing.
If this is what Undertale was then oh dear lord it would've been 100000000x better. How is that the Deltarune fangames are far better than Undertale ones? Oh right, it focuses on other characters OTHER than Sans. Either way great job to the creator and to you for playing it. Now I can't choose between Deltatraveller and this.
1. Most undertale fangames are from years ago 2. Some undertale fangames are actually very good and some are (arguably) better then this one. Not saying this is bad, just, undertale fangames are very good too

I think I have to mention they are not better then THIS deltarune fangame, I think it's the best deltarune fangame we have yet. But again, DT fangames as a whole aren't this amazing
It does make me wonder, had this happened, what would become of Kris? It seems to be just the SOUL in Kris’s body, but there’s still the issue of Kris in the Dark World, frozen in place.

Everything is in this fan-game is perfect asides menu and music kinda, but still good. Dialogues in this game have been very good written, best i've seen. Sprites is so awesome, they made entire new Starwalker's sprites and changed fight for practice mode, huge respect. Fight is pretty interesting and fair, not like in most fan games, but kinda needs new attacks and creativity to be Toby's level, but still, awesome. Amazing work!

I remember playing this fangame..... When i played the fangame i didn't use permafrost and i used to think that the only way to froze spamton GIGA body was with snowgrave so i defended everytime i didn't have 100% TP (Sometimes i healed myself but that always make me loses so i started to use the items once i knew the attack patron)
I love how the theme of Giga Spamton Neo uses the theme of Mettaton Neo. Also the way Noelle starts walking. As if she's... Limping, like Kris when he ripped his soul out. Can it be that Noelle tried to do the same? And then soul returned for the battle? Has a place to be, because soul was not in Noelle's chest, it was around her neck, And Giga Spamton Neo going "don't you know how to greet a new pal?"
What interests me is that Noelle overtime begins becoming more willing to fight against Spamton, I'm not sure if this has to do with her not feeling as much guilt about freezing Kris, unlike Berdly, or she just got tired of Spamton's shit lol
