I JUST REALIZED... Susie doesn't have a colored portrait. Neither does Noelle, nor Berdly. But all Darkners do have colored portraits, including Ralsei. Huh. Most interesting....

Assuming that the Darkners are all tulpas of real life objects.... I'm guessing Ralsei is either: A) Asriel's fur left in the storage closet B) Kris's childhood play memories manifested through Determination C) Asriel D) something that belonged to Asriel, and was left behind in the closet edit: exploration and awareness of Kris once (and possibly still) owning a red headband with horns leads to the idea that said headband could be what makes Ralsei exist. This could be a meta object, considering it pertains almost solely to Kris, and not the player - which makes Ralsei a bit unknowable.

that time ralsei showed his emotions was OK because at the time a had covid , I was in love with skyward sword and playing as well and bomber man world and my granny was out from the hospital which was a great time to me because deltarune and skyward was the only things (aslo teamfourstar) that was OK for me and when I was in the car waiting for my coming out of MaS I was playing this and the time ralsei was showing emotions was cool
