Waiting for this game over theme to slowly get more and more intense as the chapters go on, until it finally gets revamped as the final boss theme for chapter 7. Gonna be great

@@pakuvang4775you and everyone else, nah he’s gonna make Sans Undertale the final boss Joking of course, Toby’s grasp over writing is powerful, and he’s ability to surprise us more so. He’s gonna whack us over the head with a jaw-dropping final boss and no one, not a single soul will have seen it coming. It won’t be gaster, it won’t be Kris, it’ll be… Something else That is, if there is even going to be a “final boss” as we know them. We know Toby had dreamt up the ending in a fever dream over a decade ago, and no one else knows how it goes.
Hey, I discovered your channel recently and I just wanted to say these orchestral remixes are amazing. I've been loving all the Undertale and Deltarune stuff, keep up the good work!
This song, man. It just REEKS of, well, faint courage. It sounds like being against the ropes, taking a beating, even talking down, but getting back up to fall a hundred more times before victory. This has been your daily deep philosophy by an angsty edgelord on a pretty song in a RU-vid comment. Have a nice day!
My first thought after hearing this music was that I was glad I got a game over, because wow did Toby put a lot of effort into it. What a great cover! My favorite aspect of the original is how dramatic it is, and you've taken that and turned it up to 11, amazing job!
Absolutely love how you did the shift between the two main sections. That bass drop in the original always felt like a shift from grievance over your death, to a humble determination to rise again. I feel like the way you gradually added to the chorus with the strings and organ gave it this initially angelic feeling that moved more into the devotion of solider wanting to rise again.
This one, this one has beaten the waterfall remix and became my favorite of them. The way it feels like you lost, but there is still hope, and even though you may be in a bad situation now, everything can still get better, is so awesome. this time you actually proved that you have the best orchestral remixes, I loved it.
Sounds so heavenly... sounds so heroic and mellow at the same time. Would fit perfectly for a credits sequence or ending scene, like at the end of Deltarune. It's like some sort of sequence of a "goodbye", and preserving that sadness. Imagine if there was another version of this heavenly cover that was more bright and invoked even more hopeful feeling and positivity. That'd be interesting. I really love everything here! Just that my own preference is to reduce the male vocals a little bit. Either way, still sounds amazing, everything really gels together nicely. Can't really complain! What a great cover, Osirois!
Anybody else feel like this might be Kris' theme? I mean not this particular cover of course, but just the song in general. Or maybe whoever turns out to be the 'knight'.
Second comment, but a random other thing. The images this time remind me of Freespace 2. The nebula missions in particular. I also suddenly wonder about how interesting a "sea of cloud" concept might work in an Ace Combat game. You only know when you are below a certain altitude, and which way is up. But you have to engage enemy aces in this sea of cloud and lightning. Honestly, it sounds fun.
There are those who say that "The Hero" is destined to perform his great deeds. And that the "Demon Lord" is the one who wishes to fight fate. The notion somewhat started with Dragon Quest, but has leaked into many media, even including the "isekai genre" that is popular these days. Why do I bring this up? It just seems relevant. In Undertale, we were a (hopefully) "Hero" whose choices mattered. We made friends. Or just got stronger. Either way. Whatever "Hero" we were, we had the option in the end. This time is different. We are not even one with our avatar, who doesn't seem too pleased to be involved with us. Throwing us in a cage, or whatever else Kris may try in the future, we don't get along if nothing else. Though I may need to add a conditional "yet" to the end of that. Maybe we will, eventually. Get up. And try again. If we can come to terms, so can you.
A song of discouragement and sorrow, such a regret... yet filled with hope and dreams...! it can be taken as a lost cause for some, but a cheering for others... it is your choice to take it as how you might think. I thank you, Mr.Osirois, for taking the aura of the song itself and grow it even bigger, you did such a wonderful job! ^w^
[lyrics attempt, pin if liked it ;p] Verse w/ Flute: ...Maybe, it is over, Can't take it any longer, Hope's got even colder, Glory's becoming vile... Chorus: Don't Give Up, You're The One We All Depend, Don't Give Up, You're The Light We Rely, Don't Give Up, Yet Until True Fate's End, Don't Give Up, We'll Remain By Your Side!.. Verse w/ Violin&Alts: ...Maybe, it is over, Letting down with sorrow, (your fate, don't give up) Getting ever stronger, Do heroes die?.. Echoed violin: Don't Give Up, don't give up, it's not your fate! Don't Give Up, carry on, please, don't give up! Don't Give Up, reaching out to you in faint, Don't Give Up, come on now, that all you got! Verse w/ Flute 2: ...Maybe, it is over, Can't take it any longer, Hope's got even colder, But dream is becoming mine!..
It just hit me: Faint Courage is kind of another way to say Determination, Undertales game over theme…throughout Deltarune, at save files, it talks about a mysterious or familiar power…when in Undertale, it would have said Determination Deltarune keeps dodging the word Determination, and this: the faint courage-determination connection may be closest we have gotten

Osirois, can you do an orchestral arrangement from Kan Gao's OST in To The Moon or Finding Paradise? Faye's theme or For River orchestral arrangement will do. Speaking of which, I'd highly suggest to anyone reading this comment to play Kan's To The Moon series.
Any chance of adding this to spotify? I know sometimes licensing takes time to clear and other copyright shenanigans so its all good as long as its eventually shows up
A member of the VRChat Undertale community recently passed away at the age of 15. I'm going to use this in a dedicated area for grievance. TL;DR this is wonderful music as always.
I find it very interesting how the Game Over theme is changing in each chapter, I feel like Faint Courage (and all possible game over themes) and The Holy are going to be truly important songs in the future
