YOU don't matter. ...and we know nothing. we never have. and we never will. ...excellent. TRULY EXCELLENT. (amateur writer here, excuse my edgy gibberish, I got inspired.)

*A silent , dark shadow looms above you. *This is it. *The end is here. *His breath is deep and cold ; but you can not be feel it. *His eyes shine, and are filled with nothing but wrath ;but you can not see them. *He seems to be here, yet not simultaneously. *Is it a dream? *You...... *You are going to battle a person of myths and rumors. *Nobody has heard of him. *But everyone is talking about him. *He.... who fell into his own creation. *Yet he rose up. *To face you. *Your blood...and her dust and his and hers and his and his..... *It makes you somewhat strong.. *But is it enough? *He is the GOD here. *Because nobody else is. *Because nobody else did. *Because nobody else will. *Because nobody else can. *He rules over everything . *Yet nothing. *It's his problem though. *Why should it matter to us? *After all.... *JUST 1 MORE =) _Reality grows faker_ _Your determination grows stronger_ _The Void grows darker_ _Darker_ _Yet darker_ *It's him.*

Anyone else think a full song of the dream section would be amazing?

Gaster: one of the most popular characters in Undertale despite beeing a cut-content/easter egg that we know nothing about.

In undertale every action changed the outcome. Yet people tended to be cruel. In deltarune that choice is taken away...possibly as punishment. Yet people still manage to find a violent path. I feel this is gaster deciding to take matters into his own hands and stop the player himself. Otherwise the outcome would just get dark Darker And yet darker still... Untill there is nothing left. This theme sounds like the desperation of someone who lost everything and yet still is struggling to fix his mistakes and save everyone. Yet no matter how hard he tries.... All he can do is watch. Until finally he gets a chance... One chance to change everything........ To escape......to LIVE! All that stands in his way is the player....

*0:11 you wander the empty space around you the vastness of it all seems to weigh down on you as if it were being controlled by something. *in the distance you seem to recall something...was it a grey door? A pitch-black room? A room in a school? You can't remember. *You hear something...it seems to be a voice..." don't say I didn't warn you." Seems to be echoing in this vast void. *0:49 you begin to hear a chorus of voices, all seeming to be familiar, some soft gentle and motherly, some mechanical, some deep that carry authority, one that sounds lazy, one who sounds overly enthusiastic, one seems to be bursting with strength, and two overlapping each other. Yet you can seem to understand why you find these voices so familiar. *1:30 this causes you so much wonder you take a moment to try and remember, that's when you dose off, you see the beings behind the voices, your old friends, the people you killed, and the people you were going to kill. Then it comes to you….your name never mattered all that did. Was that you were meant to kill them all =) *2:45 Then you see it, a tall dark figure it looks at you, it’s very essence seems to be warping in and out of this void. It looks as though it has been looking at you, watching you, this entire time. A moment of *silence* for he witnessed a massacre... *Dreaming* of how he will bring hell to this monster. Avenging the *fallen* victims of the walking calamity known as the "Player." Because THAT "Player" has already sinned enough to see *GOD'S* JUDGEMENT.

Yes, more Gaster! I'm imagining this being Gaster fighting Kris, who has torn out their soul and therefore their connection to the player. He decides to help you out. If he wins, Kris has to put their soul back and let you play. If Kris wins, they can leave their soul, locking you out of the game permanently. You'd control the soul like in the cage, but your goal is to get hit until Kris reaches 1 HP. However, Kris is knocking attacks out of the way, making things harder. If you reach 1 HP before Gaster, you win. If not, you lose.

Dude...why didn't I listen to this sooner?! This soundtrack is just amazing! It fits Gaster so perfectly...especially with Ascended's Eternal Rest leitmotif (right about here: 3:53) and those Gaster's Finale leitmotifs at the Dream section...truly splendid!
