In no other context, with no other musician, would "violin reggae metal cover" make any sense, but you absolutely nailed this. I'm in constant awe at how wonderful the music you create is. Keep up the good work, SPG!
Most importantly the game is free and has no monetization. That said future Deltarune Chapters will not be free. And depending on what console platforms you have access to... Undertale is on sale fairly frequently for about $9.99 digitally.
I'd say you're probably onto something, considering that the Forest Maze is referenced in the Scarlet Forest in game. It wouldn't be a stretch to say that the song might have influenced the music of the area
The reggae makes it like, 300 times beter! Sooo gooood. Soo soooo goooooood. I entrust the remixes to you. :^) No need to pick really! Ohh, I like Susie's character growth. Definitely bae. What about you?
Why is this a good cover? Improvisation. Every true musician cannot wait to improv off of a new found arranged chord progression and melody. This was fantastic, thanks for sharing!
Can you please try Rude Buster, A Town Called Hometown, or Checker Dance? Those would be good fits for your style, especially the second song that I mentioned. It's one of the softer ones in the game.
I dont know if you'll be doing a cover for "The World Revolving" but I'm so hyped to hear your rendition of it~ Especially after you nailed every song so far. My body isn't ready for the upcoming C H A O S
This is friggin lovely. I really loved that improv section in the middle, it linked the metal and violin parts together perfectly. This is one of the songs I wanted to see you do, and you pulled it off magnificently as always! I can't wait to hear more from you, be it Deltarune remixes or original songs!
Absolutely love this cover! One of the best parts was when the guitar kicked in at 2:40! I'm curious, though, do you still take requests? I recently replayed A Link Between Worlds and heard Hilda's theme and you instantly popped in my head. It sounds like something that would be right up your ally! Anyway, keep up the good work my man!
I can't deal with how much I love your Deltarune covers. Thank you so much for making them. I would be ecstatic if they ended up being their own album like Strings of Determination, or Pluckhead.
Uhm, it's pretty easy to play the violin with your eyes closed. Like, very easy. I never even look where I place my fingers, and playing without a music sheet is basically the only thing the musical school wants from you.
Dude, this is just beautiful. Can you make more music in this style? The combination between a Reggae rhythm, violins and melodica is downright perfect.
Surpised to see this video hasnt gotten a comment in nearly a year. This is by far my favorite rendition of the song! It's so peaceful and I absolutely love the new parts! They give the song an added feeling of mystery and adventure and fantasy that it absolutely thrives in. I know this is an old video by now but please keep doing what youre doing man, i listen to this song all the time
Oh yes! One of my favorite songs in the soundtrack finally gets a cover, and a stellar, wonderful, adventurous one at that! Thank you so much for this genre mixed brilliance, SPG! I love it!
...Reggae metal? Reggae Metal? ...So Reggae Metal is a thing, guys. I like it. HOW DO YOU COME UP WITH THIS STUFF, SPG!? And aaaaaahhh... hard to tell what my favorite moment is, but that part with Susie Vs Lancer really got me in the feels. Really, Susie went through a lot of great growth, truly. I feel like Lancer did too, in his own way.
Where? I've listened to Gaur Plains more times than I would bother to count, so I know the song very well, but I don't Gaur Plains in this remix at all. It certainly doesn't remind me of the theme. Are you sure you're not mistaking it for something else?
Strife Genesis Yes, I have listened to the song a fair amount myself. so, I feel as if I am quite acquainted with it. 0:19 is the spot I am referring to.
