damn, quit hating on automator. he obviously LOVES movies and they have a huge impact on his music. he was just nerding out on how these people related to his records, what's wrong with that? amoeba sells movies too. it's interesting to see the connections in the art world and that cabin boy connect is pretty mind blowing. these guys are too fuckin cool for school. great episode.

I like how Del has a sense of creativity and chooses variety of styles of music such as punk, funk and hip hop/rap. Dan chooses movies with people he knows in them and it's pretty much a bag full of whatever movies.

Wow, yall so in your feelings about Dan. I thought it was okay. A movie can be terrible or below average but it can still mean a great deal to someone depending on how it is tied up in that person's mind/life. I like The Benchwarmers and The Warriors, despite them not being bonafide classics or exceptional pieces of cinema.
