Yes they are sacred to Hindus, but Hindus DO NOT consider them a God. They are sacred out of respect as they provide us with milk, but they are not Gods. We have to clear up this misunderstanding.

That pickled thing is pickled papaya and it’s called atchara. The beef with onions is called “Bistek” or beefsteak. The rice soup is called lugaw. You’re welcome sas and sissy hehe 😅😋
Yes, very true SAS ! The trauma that these animals go through before they are slaughtered, is pretty much like transferred energy from them that your dreaming because of their last emotions that they had before they were gone. I think Sas is talking about bistik (beefsteak). The salad is called atchara and yes it's made of pickled papaya mixed with other veggies. The rice soup is called arrozcaldo, theres also lugsw, pospas and goto 😊
You know it's funny about you the Asian culture and other certain cultures how you guys believe in so many different gods and yet there's only one God and we honor him we worship Him and we adore him because he created everything and it's weird how people won't eat certain foods because they think that it's wrong but yet God said everything is meant for us to eat if you choose to or not but it's funny how we put limits on so many things and laws on everything and yet God said everything is for our benefit it was in moderation definitely, anyway, just a thought
In India, Hindu Religion we worship Cows. I’ve been a vegetarian for years and years. I’m nt judgemental abt others who aren’t, I just feel I cannot eat living creatures, I hv compassion for them. And I m proud😊
Your cousin telling you that maybe there‘s something inside you to not eat beef isn‘t even a spiritual thought - it I’d a matter of fact that our mind is processing things during our dreams. Anyway, beef is not good for health for multiple reasons including health wise and spiritually too ... for overall well-being, as cow is usually more developed in terms of intelligence compared to regular animals. Yes, in Indian culture cows are sacred and we don't eat beef at all. And yes cows sense your emotions if you are attached to them for a while and have them at your house.
The nightmares are the trauma the animal went through. As you digest, the trauma transfers to you. I still eat meat. But I have horrible nightmares and sleep walk. X

For me I began feeling sad and guilty about eating beef and pork. Seems like I was having great interests plus fondness of all animals especially mammals. Cows and pigs domestic and wild including related breeds are beautiful & fascinating to learn about. I am ok with eating chicken, turkey and seafood fish/shrimp.
