I remember I was in one station unit training what is basically like doing basic training and AIT together at Fort Knox for cavalry I was at the PX and that we were not allowed to buy magazine CDs CD players a lot of different things I didn't see any drill sergeants and I was able to pull off buying a CD player with headphones and then I bought who is Mike Jones and boys in da hood. It definitely helped to keep from going crazy with no music or anything from the outside world. I used to let other privates listen to my CDs we would take turns going into the latrine and act like you're taking a crap or maybe listen to it while really taking a crap. Somehow I never got caught. I did buy the CD player towards the end of my 16 weeks training maybe somewhere around week 13 I sure do miss those days.
2021 and I'm still revisiting this ha! Good memories listening to this with homies just south of Madison, WI in a lil town called Brooklyn, WI in the trap house of the time. My friends and I would spend time at a homies sisters house who was on so we spent lotta time with the D boyz named Beesly and Lil Dick hahaha. They laughed at my blueberry green and my bottles of activis. Oh how things have changed. The trap house has been remodeled and those two have been in and out of jail/prison ever since, sad and I feel for them bc one day a myriad of alphabet boyz descended upon on their apartment, they ran and Beesly being so overweight was caught a few blocks away. Lil Dick was I. My homies sisters upstairs apartment and didn't get caught up. Did t get caught up that day I should say. Anyway that my story hope you enjoyed it lol. Point being that you can only be on the other side of the law for so long until statistics don't favor you anyone and you get popped. We never did figure out what led the pigs to catch up with Beesly and Lil Dick but they did bring and have junkie girls in and out of that house all day every day while slanging soft and hard so yeah, it wouldn't have taken much for one to open their mouth. My friends and I were in high school at the time and we occasionally would see classmate brought into the D-boys apartment dow stairs for hours at a time on multiple occasions. We couldn't have been over 16 years old at the time. Crazy shit huh? But not really that crazy considering stuff like this happen and happened daily around the US and all bc of the war on drugs *smh and face palm*.
