Behaviour support planning is more than a cup of tea. It can be difficult to plan behaviour support and it can be confusing to know what is required for a behaviour support plan. Effective planning which reduces the impact of changed behaviour and increases a persons quality of life, involves using strategies which are tailored to the needs and preferences of a person living with dementia.
In this webinar, Garrie O’Toole was joined by Amanda Eddy-Lacey, BUPA’s Robyn Attoe, and Dementia Australia advocate Marie to discuss the ways that participants can make behaviour support planning work for them, their organisation and the person living with dementia. The webinar also introduced the new, interactive and free Ask Annie modules. Additionally there were guest appearances from Commissioner Janet Anderson and Dementia Australia Ambassador Takaya Honda.
