Both at once would work pretty well aswell, that is used pretty frequently in several anime (ex. Bungou Stray Dogs), but yeah I do agree with your point- Demetori does some fire stuff which is more than just great
So fucking powerfull from the beginning, this arrangement of Desire Drive is wonderful, the most arrangements of this song are always of jazz or something calm and quietly, but this version is the opposite and that's why I love it. ♥️

@@dicecream1694 Of Mice & Men is a metalcore band. 0:05 sounds almost identical to the intro of the band's most famous song, Second & Sebring, and 0:33 sounds like Let Live (at around the 24 second mark). Given that these songs released in 2010 and early 2011 respectively while Demetori's cover of Desire Dream came out in late 2011 I think it's very likely that they were making a reference to OM&M
