My momma bought me the wedding gown of my dreams for my 1990 wedding. The gown was designed in the 80s. With exception of the small shoulder puff, the gown was classy & traditional. This was the designer.❤❤❤
This has to be the most beautiful and unique collection I’ve seen this year. If I had one negative comment I would have liked a little more blue and perhaps some blush colour. However the gowns were stunning and for all body shapes too! Great collection well done 👏 👏👏👏👏👍👍
Back somewhere in 1991-1992 Demetrius had the most gorgeous gown I wanted when I was planning my wedding. I placed an order for it but the bridal shop closed business and I was never able to get it. I’ve never seen another gown like that one that I loved so much. Even when I got married years later and had a Lord of the Rings/Renaissance themed wedding I still didn’t love my gown the way I did that Demetrius gown.
Beautiful gowns and something for everyone. The second dress on the runway was my favourite. Did not like that ridiculous veil with the tulle ruff edge. Why do the models not smile.
They need to stop telling the models that they can’t smile… it makes them look either depressed or angry. I didn’t see much here that I would want to even try on…
The blue dress in the beginning was my favorite but not the veil. The veil belongs on a dress with a plain bodice. Another favorite was the second to last dress the black with the silver embroidery. It would make a stunning red carpet dress.
There were some that were nice in this collection. Some I didn’t quite “get”… and some with the constant sleeves hanging off the shoulder that just looked kind of sloppy to me compared to their previous collections that were elegant, sophisticated, and gorgeous without being too over the top or on the too revealing side.
I love the more modest feminine look of these dresses. I like the shorter dresses also. The short dress at about 10:45 Is very similar to dresses popular in the 60’s and worn with go go boots. It’s just nice to see gowns that aren’t tight as can be, slits up to the crotch and breasts hanging out. I’m older but you shouldn’t look like you walk the streets when you’re getting married. I’m sure your friends and family don’t want to see everything hanging out when you get married.
The model @7:20 killed it. It doesn’t strike me as a wedding dress for it to be above the knee like that but for a beach wedding with flat sandals it would be cute. Whoever is trying to sell these dresses needs to make an executive decision to allow the brides to not look so serious, depressed, and on the edge. The lipstick is too dark and austere. This doesn’t have a sweet virgin appeal to it with someone with any semblance of butterflies, happiness, innocence, or effortless bounce to their steps. The music started to grate on my ears. The dresses were pretty and I would say the fabric was the most outstanding aspect of them. The shoes need to be fitted with rubber nonslip bottoms and not be so wobbly. I was worried someone was going to break an ankle and their expressions seemed to be of masked terror trying to keep it together down the runway. This has the feeling of a horror movie beginning with foreboding and crushed dreams as the theme. They looked like the ghosts of disillusioned brides roaming the earth for eternity silently weeping.
Why do so many of you not understand fashion shows are NOT about the models. They're walking clothes hangers. The designers don't want people looking at faces.
The emaciated models were rather distracting. They weren't filling out the dressings very well and they seemed like they were hanging like bags on a stick. I love some of the fabrics that were used!! That first white dress with black lace overlay was stunning!
so far i like 41/2 dresses a lot of them are floral and i dont really like how most of t hem are cut on the tops. still good wedding dresses tho. i wouldnt wear white. loved the black dreses
I love the first one with the blue! Didn't care for the veil though too much contrast from the dress. Where in USA can I find that dress and when? Do you have plus sizes?
A lot of beautiful gowns and dresses. Some I liked. But some of the most beautiful fabrics I've ever seen! Too bad the women looked so angry and unhappy!
They were all very pretty gowns but they looked very hard to walk in. The one model almost fell and the other model you could see the dress was tangled up on her shoe . Wouldn't want a dress that could make you fall walking up the aisle.
Soy yo o acaso las modelos están tristes o enojadas se supone que deberían tener expresiones de alegría quien va a comprar un vestido si la q lo lleva parece sombi
