Wow. Demi never ceases to amaze me. Not only does she have this amazing voice, but she just wants to help others. I am so proud of her & how far she has come. She made me cry. I'm a huge fan of hers. Keep it up & stay strong
I am going through family stress right now like you wouldn't believe. I'd nearly given up hope. Then I watched this video. And I decided to start praying again, something I'd not done in ages as a habit. I'm going to talk out my problems to God. Thank you, Demi. +
Demi: " When im gone, i will make my mark and at least helped one Person." Believe me, you not just helped one Person, you saved the life of way more persons. Youre not at the end of helping and already made youre mark on this planet.

Of course we are not alone. Everyone has the same kinds of struggles but its through buying into the belief that we are alone keeps us in our own pain. When you talk about it, and you have to pick and choose who to open up to, you dont need someone saying how could you or judging you, so when you open up to someone simular or who has gone through simular things - compassion starts and i think that is why alot of young people look up to Demi who is a role model and has come through the other side so not only is she an inspiration she is also compasionate about mental health and drug substance abuse, so by speaking out about it herself i get the impression she wouldnt mind if other young girls came and spoke about it because sges been there, done that and she'd meet them with empathy and form that connection.
Well it takes a celebrity to speak out over mental health and drug addiction to have a big impact. The thing is both mental health and drug attaction are two of the most tabboo words that people dont speak out on and have really bad publicity about so it takes the right kind of person to turn that around and create an open conversation about the things that we dont talk about and because of the fact that we dont talk about these kinds of things when Demi said what she said, she brought it into the light and i think reminding us all we are fighters because really only we are able to change as well as the right kind of support with a mental health profession. Like she has said she is fortunate to have the funding to go into top treatment and i think as well with her kick boxing and punching - although its a way to keep fit which is good, we all should, but it releases her inner aggression and when you have men going come on and putting those pads up she can really go to town
