I love how I could relate to your "sob stories" though. Those songs mean so much to me that it'll be sad to not see anymore heartfelt songs. I still love the beat to this song but I definitely always thought of Demi as my favorite artist because she put so much meaning into her songs.

However, it could also be referring to herself as being the body type that someone else prefers be they male or female. In that situation she could be hinting at the human phenomenon of being intimidated by someone that you find to be absolutely perfect. Most people will shy away from another person that they see as completely flawless or perfectly their type because it seems to be a human state to expect that life can't possibly work out like that. Humans are more comfortable when things aren't quite perfect, and a little bit of settling for less is involved because that is what most people expect life to be like. So, when a person is faced with the chance to have everything that they desire, and it's right there in front of them, they will usually be a little nervous, afraid, etc. to take it and would need someone, like Demi is doing here, to say, "Don't be afraid...go for it." This could also be what she is doing.
