Demi started shaky but got soooo good at the end ..esp those high notes wow!!! I miss her doing songs like this ...she's not a pop artist she needs to keep doing songs with a rock edge to them.
Do you really think Patrick would have collaborated with Demi if he didn't think she fit the song? Saying Demi doesn't belong is a big 'fuck you' to FOB. Patrick's a soulful singer, Demi's a soulful singer, therefore, they fit together.
Tristan umm I came for Fall out boy because I love them and I didn't mean to hate on Demi. Her voice is great but in my opinion she doesn't fit in the song. Also this is fall out boy's song soo why would I leave. Maybe other people who are Demi fans should leave and stop hating on my cinnamon rolls
+Berghan Barnitz I LOVED the original song. It's still great. But it works better as a duet. I feel a little empty listening to the original versus with Demi. FOB wanted Demi. They wanted her vocals, her passion, her emotion. It works.
People say Demi can't do this music but she started out pop rock and evolved into pop. fuck all y'all this is the best musical collaboration ever, two of my faves.
Right! When I first heard "Save Rock And Roll" (the first album I listened to), I was like, this guy's voice is so unique and powerful. So, I continue to listen to Patrick's amazing voice to this day. His voice is very different other singers; he is a legend.
I'm not a Demi fan, but as a singer, I have to give it to the girl! Those high notes are not easy to sing at full voice and she killed it. Don't like the girl if you don't want to, but her talent deserves to be respected. Just sayin'.
@@msbrando226 Yes. Fallout Boy's vocals are nothing to write home about. He's good. But he's not some phenomenal vocalist. He's just got a unique voice.
Demi Lovato is no doubt a great vocalist but I feel as if her current songs do not do the best to showcase them..... Even her Disney albums like "Don't Forget" and "Here We Go Again", which were more in the vein of pop/rock brought out the best in them. She's got a KILLER voice. She would sound great singing more rock oriented music as opposed to the Katy Perry type sound
That's what I thought too! Demi really has a great voice and she can do much more with it than pop music. I would love to hear her collaborate with rock bands again. I was a lovatic when I discovered FOB and I'll always be. Honestly I don't understand why both lovatics and overcast kids are hating on this song, I personally love it. My favourite artists in one incredible song.
actually no, if you take a listen to her last album you'll notice the songs that do this. For You, Old Ways, Stone Cold. Even Confident shows her skills. You all need yo listen carefully her lastest album
LucIsz Moore That is true, if you are not including their personalities. I feel like his is more genuine by far. And I think genders affect it as well, like because I am a girl I personally think he looks better. But if you are talking about the standard views of beauty then what you said is right.
I'm FOB fan and didn't like that song with Demi, but THIS is actually very good, Demi even covers Patrick's voice. She is amazing. Let's face it: song production was bad, not Demi. I'm not Demi's fan, but she, like Patrick, has an incredible voice.
yeah I agree. I love the original fob version and thought that she didn't really fit into the song in the studio but this live version is really good from both sides
Listen up: All lovatics that are hating on fall out boy; stay in your lane All youngbloods hating on demi lovato; stay in your lane! seriously can we all just leave this behind and those who appreciated the collab appreciate it and those who hated it just forget about it? I personally didn't care that the collaborated because I personally enjoy a couple of demi lovato songs..
We never said she CAN'T sing, we just said she doesn't fit into this particular category of music now. Yeah, before she sand pop rock, but I think she doesn't fit into that category anymore. Demi is very talented though, she can do more than most people. No hate towards her.
I am a big FOB fan, and we never said we thought Demi had a bad voice, I also love Demi but I think it might have just put some fans off because they like FOB way more than Demi and we were expecting a new song not just irresistible with Demi in it, don't take any offense to it, she just seems to fit into more of a 'pop' artist.
Demi can do any genre, it would be awesome to see her full rock mode for future albums but I think fusing genres within the rock mode would represent her as a whole
+Kevin M Abraham Her music is good, but her voice works better with pop music. Fall Out Boy are, according to Wikipedia, a rock group. She would fit the song better if it was originally written as a collaboration with her, but it wasn't. It was a Fall Out Boy solo track. I think the point most of us Youngbloods are trying to make is that the song works better when it's recorded as a solo.
OMG Demi DESTROYED, MURDERED, SLAUGHTER Stone Cold that was the most phenomenal performance of my life. The best vocal of this generation came out of DISNEY? wow.
guys c'mon for sake of god who cares which one is better? The result:this COLLAB song is amazing! Edit:Whoah I've never got this many likes! Guys you're amazing too!
Demi actually complimented the boys really well, I'm not even a Demi fan. I think a powerful female voice actually have it some real edge and it sounded really really cool!
To all the younglings sayin, demi doesn't this type of music, YOU CLEARLY HAVEN'T DONE YOU'RE RESEARCH BECAUSE IF HAD DONE YOU WOULD'VE FIGURED THAT SHE STARTED IN THIS GENRE OF MUSIC!!
wow. I love this. I've dismissed the song whenever I saw the music video in my feed, but decided to watch this on a whim....I WISH SHE'D DO MORE MUSIC LIKE THIS! With rock & metal being my top preferred genres, I've missed her more rock/pop style that she's deviated from. I don't know if I'd like the studio version, but this live one sounds great. They do a good job together. I kinda got a Halestorm type of vibe.
She can sing everything. To be honest i like this kind of song, rock vibes. I see her sing more rock and soul music. She can invent a new kind of music, rock & soul combined.
