When you listen 2 her, I mean really listen, you can hear the pain in her voice. 15 years later, (idk how old she is now), the pain of her best friend committing suicide is still as fresh as the day it happened. People can't heal from someone they love committing suicide. It's impossible. They can heal from your death, but taking your own life... You never know how much people love you and who you have on your side until they're/you're gone.

I have had problems with anorexia and cutting and depression. this song and all of the other songs have helped me with all of these problems. I was adopted when I was ten and I have always has these songs of Demi's to get me through these. I love you Demi and thank you for everything.

Its sad to lose someone so close. I had a sister who died in a car accident. Its not the same without the person you love with all your heart to be gone from the world we live in. Its very sad. I listen to this song because of my sisters death. It calms me down and really soothes me. I miss my sisters presence but one thing I will say is that no matter what I will always love her with my heart and will always look up to her as role model. I miss her very much and to live with out her is very painful.

i miss my dog i know what it feels like my profile is my dog, it was very painful when my dog died she meant so much to me i had her since she was a pup she was born at my house, she died in a fire my mum came home from picking me up from school then my house was on fire my dog was in the kitchen with all the smoke with all the doors locked so she passed away by the smoke :( i miss her so much her name was Layla she was actually my puppy i cant type anymore talking about her makes me cry sorry nice talking

I lost my grandma two weeks ago. im only 13 and I didn't know how to deal with this situation. I didn't know her that well she lived in Florida but thats not the point. I wish I could have gotten close to her. I didnt expect her to get taken away from me so soon. im trying to think positive thoughts but I keep being put down through my mentalist mind. this song is my life right now. my grandma has been giving us evidence or whatever that she is in the house with us. my dad is on business trip and if he was here he would probably be depressed bc he loved her so much. im glad to know that she is in a better place. I just found this song after reading an article about why she wrote this song and it reminds me so much of when my best friend passed away in August 2013... The pain I felt losing her at 19 makes me recognize the same pain that Demi felt losing her friend.. Amanda collapsed in our shared room at school the day before classes started and that year was the hardest of my life.. She was my best friend and this song makes some pain go away but it's never going to fully go away.. I think that Nightingale and Two Pieces should become single; both songs have so much emotions in them. Also, both of them these songs are amazingly. However, realistically Really Don't Care would be best 4th single for Demi to pick RDC would reach a wider audience than the other two songs because it's more radio friendly.
