Even though she said that she wanted to help girls she was still broken inside she couldn't even consider herself a role model and now in 2014 she has hit songs like Really Don't Care and she is stronger than she has ever been and I'm so proud of her
I feel like she's always had the same emotion in her song but now we understand that the emotion she put on for her songs were real and not just for "show." If you see her old concert performances of the song "don't forget," she cries in most of them. She's suffered for a long time and I am so happy that she's doing better now. She's so inspirational.
I started getting bullied at the age 5 because I have a problem with my eye when I was born and I still have the problem and I'll carry it forever on my whole. I cover my eye so it won't notice and people won't make fun but they do ask questions on why I do it. I'm in 9th grade and well I'm not that much bullied no more and people care about me. Just always be strong and believe in yourself:)
I remember watching this in 2008 thinking "gosh, she's so happy & successful and I'm such a failure & unhappy". Little did I know that we were going through the EXACT same things at the time. I can't even begin to explain how much she has helped me! God bless Demi lovato, she's a masterpice! ♥
I like watching her interviews with ellen from the beginning to the ones now. You can tell a huge difference in herself with the recent interview on ellen, if that makes sense. She's perfect and she's a huge inspiration. She was iffy about being a role model here but just look at her now.
Demi has always been so beautiful, humble and sweet even when she was really struggling. She was so damn strong to keep it all up for years, like to bear that much emotional pain but she is even stronger for opening up❤️
Depression can kick in at any time, even if your life is amazing at the moment. It's a mental illness; it doesn't just go away and stay away. Even if someone's depressed they could have a smile on their face but inside they're a mess. I know because I suffer from it, too. And actually, I believe she's most happiest now.
During her performance sometimes her shirt would show her right wrist but never her left wrist. She must have been making sure no one saw it. Poor Demi. :(
I gotta send my respect to this girl, she plays the guitar and the piano, she assists in writing the music she performs and records (At least some of it). She truly has a great voice, and most importantly: She performs LIVE! Too many artists do not perform live, and it's so refreshing to see one that consistantly does.

Trust me shes not lip Syncing. Ever thought the video was a little out of sync. My friend was at this taping of Ellen. Yeah....she's not. I've seen her sing sick, why would she just lip sync now.
Watching this video again makes me think that behind all of the makeup was a girl dying inside. Now she's back on the right track and is an inspiration to young girls (including myself) :) Love ya Demi!
