Me too, very much so !! Eastwood and Rivolta’s guitars as well ! It’s so peculiar that it’s almost funny: Gretsch & Gibson -and others- keep promoting models with MORE bracing and/or center blocks, and they be saying: “less top vibration is gonna mean less feedback in your amplified situations, so here’s a center block and/or trestle bracing: isn’t that great everybody ?!” And I’m all like: “nooooooooo, I want the opposite of that and it’s becoming harder and harder to find instruments that are heavily chambered and/or less braced…” lol, 😢

I would like to ask you a few questions because I am thinking of buying a electic baritone ukulele, and the truth is that I need help, could this baritone be tuned like a tenor ukulele (GCEA)? I have one, put it in mandola tuning. My only comment is the nut width is tight and I'd like more room. I redid the nut and got 8mm spacing but really it should have a 1 5/16" nut.
18 inch scale is a little short for a baritone uke should be 19” and the mandolin body is ugly ass sin as a ukulele player I want a uke body or guitar body not a mandolin body. But sounds nice.

I would tune it like a Brazilian cavaquinho . Hopefully I could switch between traditional acoustic cavaco, this instrument featured in the video has a little bit more finger space. Piezo pickups need to be mixed with an additional amplification type in my opinion to avoid that Casio keyboard sound. Microphones-both internal & external tend to pick up your neighbors’ percussion sounds when playing in a samba roda, so a magnetic + metal strings pickup is a great solution
