Thanks for the kind words. It depends on what you mean by High-End. Our intention is to feel the real sound of the drums. I can make it sound like a million dollars editing it a lot as most brands do.. but that it's not my intention.. my intention is you to feel the acoustic sound of the drums. Thanks!
Sounds amazing Luis! Does that wood ply on the outside remove some of the ring of the drum because I was expecting a steel drum to have more overtones?
Hey Tom! How are you? It doesn't affect at all because it's so thin. Even though our shell doesn't ring a lot like you'd expect from a steel shell we also used a Evans HD Dry head on the batter, so it takes a lot of that ring. Thanks!
