Demo'ing How to Get Started Training a Lemur with a History of Aggressive Behavior 

At a recent workshop at Zoo Leon veterinary professionals learned about the basics of training. The lemur in this enclosure had a reputation for showing aggressive behavior towards veterinarains. My job was to demonstrate how to approach and get started with an animal that has no history with training and shows aggressive behavior. The best part was being able to transfer the behavior to "the most hated veterinarian" in the zoo by the end of the session. This all occurred in just one short training session.
