We need to be vigilant, watching Republican action, or inaction, as well. Four of our Republican senators stabbed us in the gut by voting for funding for red flag laws. The reason we are here now is that we were vigilant against one but not both. Your speculation as to whether an astute Republican candidate uses this to wake others up is questionable. I've listened to the news, and wonder why people on Fox, like Hannity didn't notice this , or that. Tucker has the best show on tv , period. Actually it is a CRIME. When people are FORCED by government to pay taxes, if those tax dollars benefit them like roads, schools, etc, then a reasonable debate can be held as to their usefullness. It's insane that walking up to them and asking why they aren't doing their jobs is brushed off and happened for so long it's not even surprising. The people that never shut up suddenly get really quiet when you hit them right in the same spot they try to shove out of their heads because they know it's wrong and have known from the very beginning. Senators and Representatives refuse to answer questions on their stance on, in this case, the crime rates skyrocketing? Excuse me? THEY are OUR employees. If a boss in the private sector asks an employee to justify and clarify their actions and the employee blows off the employer, that insolent sad sack would be escorted immediately off the premises.
