President Biden kicked off the week pushing back hard on Democrats who are pushing him to drop out of the presidential race - challenging any potential alternate candidate to challenge him at the convention. He's also pointing out how French voters banded together to deny that country's far-right party in a crucial election over the weekend. Susan Glasser, Mike Memoli, and Dave Weigel join Stephanie Ruhle to discuss.

Biden didn't retreat. He had a number of different events. It is just that most of the media isn't covering it. He had rallies in North Carolina and Wisconsin where crowd was very loud in their support for Biden. He had the interview and 2 different events in Pennsylvania. I'm probably missing some stops too. Everybody I know understands what's happening: The 6 Republicans in the Supreme Court handed down a decision for Trump that a President could not be punished for any "work related" actions they take while in office. Work related could be defined as doing harm to others or almost anything. This gives a president the right to be a dictator, as Trump has outlined in his Agenda 47 document, like Project 2025. Google both. The Supreme Court is supposed to define the Constitution not make decisions to favor Republicans or anyone.
