Does preheating the molds affect the set up time of the clear and in a UN heated shop would a heat lamp under the PP affect the quality of the alumilite
Hi there, can you please help me understand what happens next? I see the cool creative part....the molding part....now we are left with a beautiful pen with clear cast....do you use these ask "blanks" to be turned and made into a type of "thicker" than normal writing instrument? I use the word thicker with respect because I don't know how else to describe it....please reply when you have time....I am totally new to this type of work and just happened upon your video....awesome!!!
Mc Cc the rest of the pen making process is completed on a lathe, turning it to the dimensions of the pen kit bushings. These we're designed to go on a sierra size pen kit. I'm sure there are hundreds of videos showing how to turn a clear casted pen blank.
