Demolition Derby Kamas 2008 Part 1 of 3 

why not use Volvo 240's, instead of american classics? I know they're cheap, but the Volvo 240's is cheap too, they can handle a lot of beatin', and everybody hates them! Why not put them in a demo derby, where they can be destroyed?

@kabam02 no usually there is a white driver door rule as in u cant hit the driver door most derbys have a list af regulations as far as welding stuff to your car or filling your tires shit like that..

@peeguyproductions up where I live you cant have a roll cage/safty cage you would just strip the car down,chain the doors hood and trunk. so they have to turn the dirt to mud.

Where do you americans get all these old cars to destroy? So many videos of destruction derbys have all these old, big heavy cars whose numbers have gotta start thinning out.

glad to finally see the behind the scenes work. until you actually build one, you have now idea how much work actually goes into building a good demo derby car.

ok i thoought they had to do that so the ohter drivers know their moving because at our derby the drivers have to put up white flags

If you don't want to see classics get wrecked, don't search for demolition derby. Find a car show or something,

I'm wondering why only two of those guys pinched their fenders, and why the guys with wagons didn't smash the backs in first? Would that be considered too much of a mod there?

The orange stripe on the wheel means that they have been through inspection prior to the derby... Thanks for the view! the lines also show the judges that the wheels are locked to stop if the driver is going to to hit the drivers side door

So, Kinda like how the Ohio boys put the White dragracing lines on the tires for the same reason
