Ryan Clark is definitely one of the best vocalists in metal. He does both the cleans and the dirty vocals.

I forgot that I had requested this song. Glad you enjoyed it! It is one of my absolute favorite Demon Hunter songs. My brain melted the first time I heard it, and I'm still feeling the buzz.. And yes, I have found myself literally screaming down the highway while listening to this song. That old suburban didn't know she could move that fast!

Love this song... on my Top 5 loop songs... Demon Hunter is one of the "smartest" musical groups I've heard from chordal structure, rhythms, vocals, etc. While a distinct sound, the songs are often so unique, there is a variety that keeps you coming back and never gets old. I can attest to the danger of high driving velocity while listening to this song. Your previous review of Infected (older song) shows they matured a lot from scream-o without a purpose to more of a melody underneath the scream. MOAR DEMON HUNTER!!! :)

I really like Demon Hunter, and I don’t actually listen to FFDP very much, although I do like their music. But I’d be really interested to hear a FFDP twist for this song. Their vocal styles are super similar anyway, and the rest of their musicality has similarities, although DH really varies a lot, so I don’t think it would really sound very different. But it’d be cool to hear.

What I love most about Demon Hunter is that there is so much variation in their music and even from one album to the next and its always good. You can't pin them down as 'metalcore', they're so much more than that.

They are heavily influenced by soilwork! They actually feature the vocalist Bjorn speed strid in their song Collapsing, which is straight fire and you should definitely react to!

Hey David! I got two songs for you from Demon Hunter because I don’t know which you prefer. 😅 Softer Song: Recuse Myself - Demon Hunter Harder Song: Jesus Wept - Demon Hunter These are both great songs. They’re both very strong and follow their initial feel.

It's been years since I've heard this song and I only remembered the "Artificial Light" part of it. It's a good song, and I also liked the video itself in general. I'd say my only complaint is that it took too long to get to the actual lyrics at the beginning. Other than that though this is a good song.
