@@elizabethmeyers1677 Saint John’s United Methodist Church, Corpus Christi TX. They’ve had a metal service every month for like, 13 years or so. They’ve actually played demon Hunter in their service before. Sadly, it is ending and turning into a podcast, but it’s still backed by the Church. In fact, the bassist of the band is a board member. A few metal bands were started from that church. I’m a drummer in one of them.
I've seen within my heart Found a great eclipsing dark in me Thought I️ could face my end but now Every time I bleed is close enough I've learned to count this all Lead the fight and heed my call again No time to waste in vain because Every time I bleed is close enough I️ can't lose my balance Pray no weight would slow me down I can't face the outcome Every time I️ bleed is close enough One step from home Close enough to hear my final song Every fear my shadow Cross the face of all you gave Oh what faint conviction Every time I️ bleed, I swear Every time I️ bleed is close enough One step from home Close enough to hear my final song All the unknown Close enough to feel my soul move on One step from home Close enough to hear my final song All the unknown Close enough to feel my soul move on
First time I heard that bit I instantly remembered _that_ Psychosocial bit. I even joked about it with a friend that it was "Close Enough" lol. Really good stuff. This album was awesome.
Thanks guys even if you don't ger airplay on the vast majority of internet stations because you are a Christian band and that is offensive because we live in a world that is inclusive, unless you are a Christian or oppose evolution. Inclusive means to include every view - though the secular worldviews are exclusive, which is something all these worldviews miss.
This particular clip has 83 comments. This song has a riff and individual efforts that rivals enter sandman. There’s no spiritual warfare out there... ha
