Demon's Souls Remake - Old King Allant Boss Fight (4K 60FPS) 

I *REALLY* want another boss or enemy that can do this, hopefully in Elden Ring's DLC. Honestly it'd be nice to have a way to delevel our characters in any kind of way. Maybe your build's too OP and the game isn't challenging anymore, or you want to PvP at a lower level because everybody else is too OP. Instead of starting a new character and losing everything, you'd just delevel your existing one.

Agree, when I first encountered this boss I didn't realize he was taking my levels away.

The Fraction of that probably Maliketh attack that stole your HP Fighting him with 30 vigor ended up getting 1 shotted

A lot of the bosses are gimmicky but some of the levels are the hardest in the souls series

And the Soul Drain attack. That's really dangerous too.

New game plus was no joke tho. The amount of hp the enemies got and the reduced damage you did was abusrd.

I rather have Elden Ring plastic character move set than next generation graphics. I mean, the way the characters moves in this game is kinda cheesy

I never got a sense of achievement from ER bosses, always just a thank F**K thats over. Badly designed and not fun at all. This game has a different challenge for most bosses, made it fun!

ER boss fights are just too chaotic. Literally every main bosses stomping ground and making shockwaves. And shoot lasers which follows you. Basically same and they last too short to compare old soul games because u get one-two shot from boss and you deal 700-1k to. Him.

Elden Ring is the first souls game where I felt summoning was a must. Yeah sure you have try harders who can beat the game SL1 and take no hits and that is perfectly fine, but I am getting older and the reflexes are just not there anymore. I like challenge like everyone else but the bosses hit way too hard, are way too spastic to barely let you get a hit in, and have ay too many AOE attacks. Bosses in this game are what I consider nicely tuned - punishing if you get greedy or panic roll, yet still give you time to breathe for a hit or 2. Flame Lurker may be the lone exception and even that boss is still less spastic than the later bosses in ER. I mean for god sake I knew the tuning was off when bosses in NG were dealing as much damage as a late game boss would in past Souls games on NG+3

@@aidle I mean it's widely agreed upon that most bosses in ER are badly made bro, I've also got platinum trophies in all their other games and I have absolutely no will to play ER past mid game which says a hell of a lot.

Well prettier is a subjective opinion based on art style. I would argue the vistas and setting in Eldin Ring surpass that of Demon Souls remake. But in terms of graphical fidelity this remake is better because it’s on a smaller abs focused scale and because From soft is not very good at making high end graphics. People think they make good graphics but really what they mean is that the art style of their games is impressive. As far as graphics go they are just average.

Yeah, this honestly looked like it was an intro boss. Such long periods of standing still, super telegraphed.

Probably the worst souls game

Malenia & Malekith the prototypes for the eventual anime souls game. i never played demon souls. any clue if its his build or was it normal for this boss NOT to be doing 1/4th his life with every swing?

@@resengan123 That is just how the older games were. Elden Ring later bosses hit as hard on NG as the older game do on NG+3 at minimum. This is one turn off I have about that game. 60 vigor is recommended in Elden Ring only because they hit so hard, and also the big gains really start around 40 or so. In the older games once you hit 40 vigor you started getting piss returns. I ran bloodborne, which was the start of the "spastic souls" style, all the way to NG+5 and never felt like I was having a bad time. It was hard yes but you weren't barraged by never ending combos and AOE's either. I felt compelled to keep going. As of now I have uninstalled Elden because it just makes me feel like garbage and a game isn't worth your health state.

@@dizzle6453 I just finished elden ring last night and I gotta say the other souls games left me wanting more but after the end of of elden ring I felt glad it was finally over.

L opinion. Maybe if you only look at water and texture quality, but the way elden ring uses color and scale is unmatched, even in other fromsoft games
