I just beat this Boss yesterday (First Playthrough, Mage Build) with Soul Arrow. I was wondering why there wasn't a quicker path. Lo and behold, it was in front of me the whole time. Lol
It’s possible. I used a temple knight strength build for my first play through, and whenever he would swing at me, I just roll behind him and hit him 2-3 times and run away. Then when he chases me, I just roll behind him again and do it all over. Use ‘Curse Weapon’ to give you damage boost. Now I have 99 max stats and I one-shot him easily lol.
Idk how many tries it took me but at least ten tries. Didn’t get him stuck consistently. He loves to move after a while when he’s not hitting u. When he moves to the left to get inside that spot, get out of there then lure him in again and make sure ur walking backwards while casting spells. Got him stuck running towards me twice in my last attempt I’m glad it’s over with. He’s such a bitch with his attacks even with my shield up
47 dislikes? Why? Just curious because you all clearly searched for this exact video, he did exactly what the title insinuates... Am I missing something lol 🤷🏽♂️
I think, people do Not dislike the Video, they dislike the solution... Maybe it is too boring, maybe they dont have the poison magic whatever. Dont Take it personal 😉
Glitch: You need a bow. Enter the arena and watch/skip the cutscene. Save and quit. Load. Equip your bow. On the fog, go closer to the wall, on the first frame the X button is available, but try to look to the wall. Press X and immediately hold L2 to aim the bow. The boss will not move, just kill him.
To my surprise, I actually beat this guy on my first try ever playing this game the other day. I went in thinking I was gonna get thrown around and bullied a few rounds before I figured him out. The hype surrounding this guy had me a little intimidated. But I was able to beat him somehow. I just didn’t get greedy with my attacks and always healed. Plus I was a melee build. I’m always a melee build in souls games
@@blackreddawg I just feel like it’s technically the “easy mode” I’m not knocking anyone that uses magic, I just feel like these games were meant for swords and melee. Obviously I know there are other builds and weapons. That’s just my opinion. I don’t feel like I’ve conquered a souls game if I use magic to beat it.
@@Urlastnerve yeah I feel the same way, I’m using a royalty build because it’s my first souls game but I make sure to use the melee whenever I can. I’m thinking of doing NG+ and doing a temple knight build after
Ik this boss is hard at the start but once you really learn its move set it gets a lot easier especially if you have a magic weapon so doing this in mu opinion is not ideal beacuse its very scrubby
@@cyphersuit1 Yes sorry I meant mag 60. No point in going to 60 INT lol. Honestly I find that magic in general got kinda nerfed in the remake. It was great in NG but in NG++ it's not very effective at all.
