I love how upbeat and heroic this sounds in comparison to the dark souls songs, the Slayer of Demons was always portrayed as more of a hero compared to the other Soulsborne protagonists, so this is really fitting.

@@GuyParson Oh of course you can rp the character as a believer in their noble cause, but the way the games start the other characters are forced to be there somehow, they either do the job or go mad in their undeath. But in demon souls you start as some dude that walks into what you know to be almost certain death of your own accord.

@@zigzaghyena yeah , no matter the build , they're just murderhobos until oscar/the firekeeper say what you should do , and even then the chosen undead might not really know what he's even doing until frampt . The slayer can either be a common knight/mercenary , a very frail mage/royal ,an angry priest or some literal nobody trash and yet they all volunteered against things that they know killed far greater men. There's also the bearer of the curse who can be played as a forossan barbarian who barely knows anything beyond fighting and is just having fun now

Only other Demon's Souls song I liked better was Monumental by Aviators, but that's a tough bar to beat since they're my favorite RU-vid artist, period. I like that you brought Andrea in for this one, her voice works well for it.

I really like the song, don't get me wrong, but this really doesn't feel like a demons souls song. The lyrics sound much more like dark souls with "humanity" and "rekindled" and "hollow" and "feeding demons to the flame". They mentioned before in another video that they don't play much dark souls so i feel they just went 'demons souls is just like dark souls right? Probably.'
