The beautiful thing about that new chapter, we finally got to see tanjiro and nezuko mourn not only the death of their end family but everything they’ve been through. Neither of them had a chance pause and feel. Watching them both get the chance to cry and let it out was really beautiful.

The way Tanjirou speaks in his final address, it’s almost like you can feel Rengoku’s presence. As the final address was so close to Rengoku’s final words.

Young master is about 113 years old as he was 8 when Muzan was killed in 1915 and if the modern day takes place in 2020 then the young master has live a little Over a century

I figured the first ending was a little rushed, I’m glad that the croc was able to go back and make a proper one. Demon slayer really knows how to get the emotions going, it’s gotta a nice balance of somber sadness but also joy that warms your heart

Dang I'm crying the perfect ending to a great series and such a beautiful message that Gotoge sense taught with it, life isn't about being perfect but merely of living it the fullest and embracing and appreciating every moment as a real man that makes me cry. Also zenitsus natural hair color was black it only became yellow as a result of a magic lighting bolt hitting him and he survived it so he gained it's power causing the yellow hair.

that was crazy, you reading that last part by Tanjiro had me tearing up HARD. HARD. I love it so much. Gratitude, companionship, being present and hopeful, and conviction. That mindset is so key. His courage and determination is something I behold--one thing I'm proud I can relate with Tanjiro: Not once in my entire life did I consider myself unlucky or acursed.

I for one can say that I absolutely did not like the original ending to the manga when it first came around for several issues. One of the Biggest issues I had was the sudden dumping of the OG cast to move onto their descendants. However now with this extra chapter/ new ending it finally gives the story the neat little bow that it deserves. Brought it up to a 10/10 for me absolutely love Demon Slayer now

The chapter was in 3 parts so if I'm not wrong; the first part is supposed to be connected to the end of ch 204, the 2nd part is the start of ch 205, and the 3rd part is connected at the end of ch 205. And the rest are extra pages with info. I just wanted to confirm this so that I can feel completely satisfied with the ending cause it was beautiful.

To be fair, I wouldn't really call it a "new" ending since these pages were pulled straight out of the manga during its weekly run, so it's always been there with the release of volume 23. WSJ did KnY REALLY dirty there... especially with how much it contributed to the manga industry in such a short amount of time.

Now almost a year after the proper ending, I'm still impressed how excellent it actually was. The original ending we got with 204 and 205 was obviously rushed for obvious reasons, and I didn't care for it. The additional material we got for 204 and 205, along with the epilogue to 205 is perfect. I have no doubt that, given how Ufotable has been adapting the manga, that Demon Slayer will be a modern shounen classic and join series like FMAB as a go to for anyone starting anime for the first time.
