The Storm series had Bosses like Obito and madara. In story they had INSANE boss moves and once you defeat them you get them as a character with different move set. That's what could happen here. I can't think about any reason why they would not put demons in the game. They simply do not exist. The roaster is asymmetrical. It would be really stupid if they if they leave it like that. And they sad "as for now 18 characters" So that tells we getting characters even tho that's not demons but it's should be.

I feel like at the end of the day, the full roster would be about 25 characters if they really want to fill up the missing space left on the circle-shaped Shôji (the character selection space).

the thing is that the developers had to release the game to the public earlier than they had expected so they weren't able to release the main playable demons like the one that nezuko fought and rui. so they are working on doing that and they will release those characters for free in a dlc

@@The.Brother.in.Christ Storm you couldn’t combo cancel into a special or ult well. You could barely do it but it’s easy to get out of. There were no parries in Storm only counters that make you stand still and were so predictable.

There are still autocombos. Just press a button and you do a combo. I would like to see something more complex, like they did in Fighter Z.

Let's be real as far demons can be added (we're talking about main ones with a moveset) we have like 6-7. - Susamaru (the only one I want tbh) - Yahaba - Yushiro (i guess with Tamayo) - Kyogai (Drum demon) - Rui (MAYBE) - Rui's Father - Akaza And that's it, all of the other I really don't see them as playable characters. And 7 slots is what the selection screen has :) Tongue Demon, Swamp Demon...I don't really see the fitting. And one more important thing: It's better to have at the beginning a small yet balanced roster, with the characters' arquetypes introduced (SFII-III, Melee), than a really big one where there's a lot of broken stuff that ruins the game (All the Ninja Storm Saga, Jump Force or Smash4 on release)

It’s a Catch 22 though. If everyone buys the low quality game, “Man, everyone’s buying our game, guess it’s pretty good and we shouldn’t change anything”, and if hardly anyone buys the low quality game, “Guess we should stop making anime games, nobody likes them”. 1 million copies sold world wide in its first week for a first released game of this anime. 6 free characters coming plus a possibility of Tengen coming in the game. I was wrong with the "unlockable" - they're coming as free dlc instead... on the way are Akaza and Rui.

They are only adding characters you seen in action in the anime only

Himejima doesn’t fight until the last arc, so you’ll have to wait for Hinokami Chronicles 4 in 2026. I’m definitely excited to play Shinobu tho
