The scene opens with Kokushibo launching a barrage of moon-shaped sword slashes, "Moon Breathing: First Form - Dark Moon, Evening Palace," flooding the room with a lethal rain of crescent blades. The Hashiras swiftly respond with their respective Breathing Techniques:
- *Sanemi Shinazugawa* counterattacks with "Wind Breathing: Seventh Form - Gale, Sudden Gusts," creating turbulent winds that deflect the moon blades.
- *Muichiro Tokito* employs "Mist Breathing: Sixth Form - Lunar Dispersing Mist," shrouding the battlefield in a dense fog, obscuring Kokushibo’s vision and allowing the Hashiras to maneuver more effectively.

However, the Hashiras press on, combining their attacks in a relentless onslaught. *Sanemi* and *Gyomei* synchronize their moves to execute a deadly combo: Sanemi’s "Wind Breathing: Fifth Form - Cold Mountain Wind" creates an opening, and Gyomei follows with "Stone Breathing: Fifth Form - Arcs of Justice," dealing a devastating hit.
The Battle Turns
Despite their efforts, Kokushibo's demonic powers seem insurmountable. His regeneration is rapid, and he counters with "Moon Breathing: Eighth Form - Moon Dragon Ringtail," creating a dragon-like torrent of crescent blades that forces the Hashiras to scatter.
At this critical moment, *Genya Shinazugawa* takes a drastic step. Consuming Kokushibo's flesh, Genya temporarily gains demonic abilities, enhancing his strength and resilience. With newfound power, Genya supports his brother Sanemi and Gyomei by absorbing blows and creating opportunities for counterattacks.
A Sacrifice for Victory
**Muichiro Tokito**, gravely injured but undeterred, charges Kokushibo using "Mist Breathing: Seventh Form - Obscuring Clouds," his movements erratic and unpredictable. This reckless assault distracts Kokushibo, allowing the other Hashiras to land crucial strikes.
In a final act of defiance, Muichiro unleashes his "Mist Breathing: Ninth Form - Cumulonimbus," a technique that channels all his remaining strength into a single, potent attack. The blow is powerful enough to shatter Kokushibo’s crescent blade and leaves him momentarily vulnerable.
