@{Tohru_the_dragon} No worries. There are many different stores with different versions of the Nezuko cosplay. Some will be the same, similar and some will be completely different. I'm already glad if this video helped just a little bit!

I just got a nezuko cosplay. Would you have any recommendations on something to secure the obi? All they used was a small strip of velcro. :( Also, mine never came with straps to tie down the kimono. Any advice for that would be appreciated. Love the video!

You could try to sew in a stronger strip of velco or perhaps press studs? As for the kimono itself, if it came without any straps/ribbons... I think it'd be best to ask someone for help. Fold the kimono as shown in my video and keep it in place with your hands while someone else puts the obi on you tightly. Traditional kimonos don't have straps either and it's all kept in place by the obi. If that doesn't work, then perhaps sew a few ribbons on the inside yourself. I hope this helps!🌟

I'm super happy that this is helpful for you and I totally get why you don't want your parents to find out. I had a difficult time to show my mom that cosplay events or comic cons aren't "weird". Eventually she went with me one time and she actually enjoyed it. Maybe, sometime in the future, your parents will understand as well even if they don't watch anime. I think that they'll love to see you sparkling with happiness🌟 Just have a casual talk with them about cosplay when you feel comfortable 💕

In the anime they are tied, but I think you could wear it the way is the most comfortable for you! :D

Yes, that's right. You can make the ribbons as tight or as loose as you want for more or less closure. The most important thing about the sizes are the length of the kimono and the length of the sleeves🥰 but just to be sure, ask the company!! They respond very quickly on Instagram (within a day)

Yes, left over right is how you wear a kimono. Kimono's worn right over left is reserved for the dead. I hope this helps💕

I'm very much in favor for cosplayers to do what makes them feel comfortable. If you wish to wear black leggings underneath, you should do that! Don't let anyone talk you down about it. Cosplay should be something fun, and not something that makes you do things you don't want to do. Long story short: do what you want! As for the Nezuko wig, I actually stopped creating cosplay videos for the moment. Maybe in the future, but thank you for your comment!! 😄

No, unfortunately it depends on where you bought your cosplay. If you bought yours from the DokiDoki store like me, then it'll be the same. If you bought yours from another shop such as Miccostumes, then there could be changes because each shop manufactures their cosplays somewhere else or use different materials, different design, etc.

It could also be because it wasnt stitched in properly. You can definitely try to sew it back in. It's not too hard to do!

Well actually, I didn't order the wig from the same shop. I just layered an oranje wig and a black wig on top of each other. But I can make a Nezuko wig review! 💖 It's just going to take some time, since orders from China are delayed because of the Corona virus.

I bought M, but I'm normally S. When I order from China I usually go one or two sizes larger. But Dokidoki shows a chart with sizes. You can get a measurement tape and check which size would fot you best😊

You mean the white collar? First, check the website if it should've been included. If it should've been included with your cosplay, send the shop a message that your package doesn't have the collar. If the collar wasn't included as stated on the website, then you can either order it seperately from another shop or make one yourself. But check with the shop first! I hope this helps💕
