(from an anime only's perspective) I understand it's easy to misunderstand constantly thinking X or Y is tanjiro's dad. But honestly if we do some analysis, its impossible. no upper moon has been killed (or replaced?) in over 100 years. that means kokushibo, when he was human, was over 100 years ago. so clearly kokushibo can't be tanjiro's dad. and even if they assume earring man became kokushibo, earring man can't be talking to tanjiro's dad, cause this would have also happened over 100 years ago (100 years is MINIMUM based on the audience's knowledge so far)

The editing for the scene at the Infinity Castle is so bad, idk what they were thinking with all the incessant jump cuts and random flashing lights

yeah, that was kinda jarring. I suppose it was to show intensity and make us scared of these upper moons, but it felt really forced.

@@asianpersuasion4901 yea it might've worked if they toned it down a bit but they just kept doing it for scenes that are supposed to be tense like the conversation between Upper One and Akaza, having it jump cut around during that scene just made it look goofy and killed the tension it had, drawing that scene out instead would make it feel appropriately tense.
