@@marti9734 Personally, I think it was sad but not really satisfying (but this is just my opinion on poeticism/predestination versus realism) Mainly because Shinobu being alive at the end can teach us so many more lessons. I believe that it would've been more powerful for her to live to the end, because it symbolizes how life, despite carefully planning for something years in advance, isn't poetic and that plans can be undone. Not very poetic? Yes, but that's my point. Life isn't supposed to be that way. Shinobu living also symbolizes that sometimes, you'll have to go on living when your deepest driving force isn't necessary or possible anymore. And when your plans fail and you'll have to rely on someone else to finish it while playing the role of spectator (among the living in this case). And the importance of looking at the family you have instead of the one you lost. Shinobu would've best symbolized these things more than any other character we see living to the end. Which is why I will hold this view until the end: her fate, while not a plot hole or "wrong" in any sense, was mistake in that it Gotouge missed the chance to show deeper and just as, if not more, meaningful lessons to the reader.

When I first listened to this video, the only thing I really heard was Shinobu’s theme. But after listening to it again, I had realized that somehow, Samuel was able to PERFECTLY blend the Hashiras theme into it… To perfectly blend something, it requires much skill, yet Samuel was able to pull it off.
