Hell sabertooths caused terror birds extinction do to getting hunted and lose of pray that was also hunted by sabertooths and we humans caused sabertooths to go extinct so I think a good spear to the terror bird would take down the terror turkeys

Problem is, Ostrich eggs have very thick shells, far too thick for an Egyptian Vulture's beak to break through. However, a stone CAN, so the Egyptian Vulture has learned how to pick up a rock and whack it against an Ostrich egg to break into the shell (it usually takes them quite a few tries to do it though, cause as I said before, Ostrich egg shells are mighty thick).

I think they don't fit the raptor criteria since they don't have big talons. But they are definitily menances wich isn't suprising once you realise they are part off the Corvoidea and within that group they are rather closely related to corvids. Apparently they even imitate the calls off othe birds to lure in victims.

I just wanna say, is it really murder? Most humans no longer take part in the hunter-gather society, especially not the the hunter part. At least not in Western Society. However, the number is still not that close to nil. But we as a society do farm animals, then send them to a slaughter house. All so that we can eat. The behavior of these animals might be crazy, but they also have to eat. It really is just the circle of life. It's very uncomfortable, but that's because we no longer have to take part in similar acts as our ancestors did.
