Demons of the Mind crew come from San Francisco, California. This 1992 performance was recorded in a San Francisco cable station. This features the legendary "Pop Tart," who was known for his b-boy, hip hop, struttin' moves that inspired breakers from around the Bay Area and various clubs. The popper Pop Tart is teaching his art to the the younger generation through college.

I remember these guys from 1986 (Oakland California) Especially Dana! (far left) These were the first guys out here in the west coast to mimic animatronics perfectly in their routines! 😃🤯😆 And keep in mind, they've got to be in their late 40s to early 50s in this video..... Imagine them in their prime! 👊😎

So many good groups, both male and female, during this era! On any given weekend you could go to Fishermen's Wharf, Powell St (SF near the cable car turn around and BART) or UC Berkeley at Telegraph and Bancroft and see any number of groups performing! It was truly amazing to watch!

We went against these guys around 1979 at the richmond auditorium California......we were all practicing in the bathroom. I was in the MasterLocks group....Close encounters of the funkiest kind and Granny & the Robotroys too were there and a bunch of other groups...get this : Some chick who was winding her butt won....we were all Pissed! We could not believe how unfair that was. Anyway....Demons is the best group i have ever seen especially when they became Media Circus.
