Very good! The fact that you put it on a much higher level gives it a more powerful siphonic action. However, to avoid the septic tank getting clogged all the time, you should simply cut that pipe shorter.
It will siphon out if it’s vented after the bend. I’m pretty sure, mine has a horizontal pipe and the toilet is at one end and about half way down there is a sanitary tee, if it’s covered, the toilet siphons out very slowly. Edited to fix spelling mistakes.
You should do a follow-up video of this, with some improvements, like cutting a bit of that pipe that goes into the septic tank to address the clogging issue
Great siphon and gurgle! Based on the date of these videos, they must have been made before or at the time OCC Plumbing & Restorations and BTR Plumbing were getting their channels started.
You should put a 45 degree wye on the pipe that heads downward. Basically what I’m saying is try venting it. It might flush faster and more aggressively.
You don't have to poop in it. We live in a world of simulation. Throw some mini snicker bars in it and get some chocolate pudding and smear it on some toilet paper. Butt, :) , seriously nice work. one thing you may want to test it with is marine toilet paper that they use on boats they are much more susceptible to breaking down quicker than the regular TP we use in our households. Keep designing - you neve know when you'll fall into something no one else did. That's how Post It Notes and Velcro ended up in our domain.
You inspired me to do this I'm making blueprints to make this same thing but on a foldable wood table I made, gonna get the parts tommarow.m hope it comes out nice
you should do more videos on it. i saw you just uploaded 2 videos today.. you should defidently do more on this (ive watched this video like 5 times by now lol)
@@BuildingWithZach yeah true.. thats why i have to wait til summer to build mine i had planned to do it last summer and then never went to lowes to buy the pipes for my idea, it should be failr simple.. buy the same valve you have off amazon for 15$, then buy a giant 1.5" pipe that i can saw as needed, as well as a few bends e.t.c.. problem is im not sure how big the pieces have to be to make it work correctly.. because i dont think i really have a place to just stick this thing in the ground, i was going to build it on a little Table that i could build, And then all the water would dump into one of those 5 gallon Lowes buckets, and then from there the bucket would have a Hose, at the top of the bucket on the side, There would be a mesh cover of some sort like you have, and that would drain water, Probably into the gravel next to my driveway, where it wouldnt flood anything.
