The Flexradio 6700. The most powerful direct-sampling SDR transceiver on the market today. The radio covers 10 kHz to 148 MHz, so 6m, 4m and 2m are included as well. The Flex 6700 is equipped with two parallel receive paths that can function fully independent and concurrent. Each of these paths is equipped with a powerful digital signal processor and a huge ultra fast FPGA in the digital front-end. the FPGA is so large that currently the software only uses about a third of it, which leaves plenty of room for future software expansions. In a way we are lucky that processor and ADC speeds are not really increasing any more the last years, the technology seems to have reached a ceiling. This will assure this radio is state-of-the art for the next 10 years to come, and improving with each new software revision that Flexradio develops.
