I totally forgot that Statler kinda just forced herself into Dempsey's life!!! Thats a really good point but tbh I really don't like either of them. They're too opposite of eachother to compliment each other.

IMO Statler knew she was going to self destruct and ruin this relationship going on this trip. Remember how she didn’t want give up her car or have a plan B? She KNEW this relationship would end by behaving this way.

That was not a panic attack...more like a whiny brat...we have all been uncomfortable with certain things and I am sure the tlc/sharp producers know she doesn't like being on the water and ofcourse set the whole thing up...

I don't think its different, I think it was just easier because it wasn't in her face. And its probably a few hours a day. Now its 24/7.

💯 agree. Statler never takes accountability! Everyone must accommodate her. Read my manual blah blah wtf! She insisted on moving in with her. And Dempsey should've leather alone. Me I'd leave what's the point? There's only joy when it revolves around Statler.

I agree this is what Statler convinced Dempsey she wanted….i honestly feel bad for Dempsey. Although she’s not perfect, she at least tries to make Statler happy…

I really think that Dempsey is just using Statler to finance this nomadic dream of hers. Shes the perfect ticket since she works remote and is obsessed with her. Statler's anxiety is just the cognitive dissonance where shes trying to make sense of something she doesnt want to come to grips with. Every time Dempsey gets a chance to separate herself from Statler she does. I mean I totally agree with her, I wouldnt want to be around Statler either, but I think the anxiety isnt really anxiety its just the truth she can't bury under the sand anymore.

I think Dempsey physically removes herself is because she needs to look out for her mental health if Statler isn't considering her. I don't think thats a problem. I DO AGREE and have said from the beginning that this nomad life is her dream and statler talked up a big game that she can support them through it.

Also, I am wondering if Dempsey is responsible for 100% of the driving? I have not seen Statler drive at all in the UK. And we already know Dempsey was completely responsible for the planning of the trip, as Statler was too anxious to participate in that too. Could be that Dempsey has fielded all the responsibility for making the trip happen, and since Statler only had to show up and go along with it - Dempsey may be getting ticked off thinking: why is Statler having anxiety about everything when Dempsey had everything put on her shoulders and handled it with a smile??

Typically when I'm irritable when I'm anxious and i come off a certain way I'm willing to apologize 🤔 i understand that it can be alot sometimes. So, I'm typically willing to talk things out. But i also feel like taking a moment to calm down on both sides so you can come back with a better look at the situation is good. I feel like Statler is the type to not work on her problems, she just accepts them and thinks nothing can change. She seems self aware enough to say it caused problems in her last relationships but she doesn't seem to want to fix that. Everyone has problems that make things rough, but it doesn't seem like she sees that.

Exactly. No one wants you to fake it when you're anxious its about being respectful and communicating through that. And if you caused harm, being able to hear out the persons grievances rather than look like an annoyed teenager.

Definitely agreed . Statler does too much. I feel like she pushes her mental illness to justify her behavior when shes being sour. Dampsey shouldve waited after when things were calm also, especially you have a 5 hr drive. That is the perfect time to talk to her and let her know whats up or figure stuff out. I believe when things dont go as Statler planned in her head she automatically panics and refuses to just go with the flow. Yes we understand shes been through alot, but gurl wake up and smell the adult coffee stop acting like a child.

Statler gave Dempsey reading materials to help her understand her anxiety better. She also told Dempsey many times what she needed in that moment but Dempsey just kept going. I usually find Statler irritating but this time, I had to side with her.

Statler has lied a few times or has amnesia when it comes to convos btw her and dempsey so I want to see confirmation of this before I believe it. I do agree that Dempsey was out of line for pushing a convo in a moment like that. They don't make room for each others needs.

Stalker is acting like a spoiled brat. She been allowed to get away with this all her life. She uses it as an excuse. I know people and kids with the same disability they don't act like that all the time. Stalker is ever happy.

Idk what traumas she is working through but she will run into similar obstacles no matter who she is with if she doesn't reflect. I think her feelings are VALID, the communication aspect though is not great.
