Upon rewatching the debate, I realized that Donald was using the Gish gallop, which is a rhetorical technique in which someone throws out a fast string of lies, non-sequiturs, and specious arguments at a pace that makes it impossible to fact-check or rebut in the amount of time it took to say them. It’s most effective on someone with a stutter like Biden has. Donald did this with Biden in 2020 too, which is what prompted the “will you shut up, man?” comment. Unfortunately with mics muted this time around, the technique became more effective for Donald. This actually explains a lot about why yesterday’s debate went as it did
Not just that, but half of his lies were pure, unfiltered projection. Everything he accused Joe Biden of is what HE actually intends to do, from calling him a "criminal" (he's not; Trump is) to saying he'll start World War 3 (Biden's trying to prevent it; Trump wants to start it). The race did *not* become suddenly about age just because of the debate last night! Talking heads have been trying to make it about age and you see a basis to push on that sore spot after last night. The Constitution only gives power to 3 branches of Government, the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. There is No Administrative branch mentioned in the Constitution in terms of having Constitutional power to make laws. So the SCOTUS decision today is correct, and based in the Constitution.

Every other speech Joe Biden has given matched the intensity of his speech today in North Carolina. To say that last night's debate changes all that is ridiculous. I'm voting for Joe. If he wins a second term and the unthinkable happens, VP Harris steps in, and I'm fine with that. Because she will continue Joe's agenda, fight for the American people and defend and protect our Constitution.
IMHO, Joe did just fine under the circumstances. Debating a self-centered narcissistic liar is very difficult. Joe has a proven record of successful governing even with the GOP clowns fighting him every step of the way. That debate was a blip and not worth wringing our hands over. Anyone who doesn't vote for Joe will regret it for the rest of their lives and THAT'S A PROMISE!
