Amazing looking Denali that we built for Noah! 2016 Denali 2500HD Duramax Rough country 7.5" lift 0.5" diff drop Hostile 24x14 Alpha Nitto 375/40r24 trail grapplers Metal Lugz spike lug nuts
Why are people saying cheap lift kit? 7.5 RC kit for this 2500 is $1600.00 without installing. 90% of the people hating on the kit can't even afford it.... BTW bad ass truck! The 375 look good on this truck!
$1,600 is less than I make in a week and I'm sure I'm in the minority for income of guys that are driving this truck. You do NOT go cheap when it comes to suspension - unless you're driving a base model SR5 Tundra. At the very least, go BDS or Cognito for goodness sake. Damn. RC is the Walmart of kits - you can get it at 11:30pm on a Thursday.
There's nothing wrong with RC lifts! Believe what you want but their lifts are engineered better than some of the more expensive ones. They pump out a higher quantity of products making costs less expensive. 💯 Facts!
Nice truck...I have the 2015 with the 8 in. Icon on 37's. That's the beauty of buying your own truck...you can lift it anyway YOU, or the customer in this case, likes it. How boring with world would be if everyone had the exact same lift...tires and rims. Would give us nothing to choose from or disagree about. Great Channel....
ive watched this video like 20 times....i love your content.....ignore the haters....keep putting stuff out like this.....you def found your audience !!!!!!!!!!
It's not a big boy truck unless it's a dually, megacab or crew with 8ft bed. Boys with 6.5ft beds trying to be "big". Worse yet, my fellow Ram 2500 jabronies with 6.3ft bed have to compensate by putting their mirrors up. Cringe stuff. Man up and get a long bed and a full size truck.
1/2 ton trucks that have more wheelbase than this Denali HD F150 crew with 6.5ft bed F150 supercab with 8ft bed Tundra double cab with 8ft bed Ram 1500 wtih 6.3ft bed (basically identical in length). If you want a big truck make sure it can't be visually confused with a 1/2 ton. And this size there are plenty of half tons on the road with the same or longer wheelbase.
The reason why other lift brands are expensive is Bc they use Fox shocks . RC uses their own brand shocks , you can design a Rough Country lift just like any other ! And still get same results !
Okay everyone hating on RC, have y'all have any problems with Rough Country? Seriously cuz I havent, 2 years on a 7.5" hasnt give me any rattle yet Just because its cheap doesnt mean is crap
i agree. i have a 6 inch rc lift. Smooth as silk on the highway. No wobble, steering doesn't wander and even handles some mild off road with no issues. People think that when a product is overpriced because of the name then its automatically better. No you just spent more money.
Lift is fine upgrade the control arms and shocks to whatever brand you prefer and your gold you’ll get the same look as the higher priced lifts for a lot cheaper I do very minor off-roading snow and beach I pull trailers, car and dump go on long road trips and also occasionally hit the drag strip I have had zero issues with my lift
Duramax Bradenton salt water fishing if you’re slapping the kit bare it’s bad. If you spend a lot on the kit to make it good, buy shocks, control arms, diff drop and many other components to make it a good kit. You’re spending too much making a bad kit good so it’s better off just doing it right unless you have the bank. But you cannot say RC will do the job itself especially on a nice ass truck like that
@@duramaxbradentonsaltwaterf9471 You sure? What is there to know? Their track record speaks for itself. If dealerships are installing them on their "custom builds", you can easily assume they are bottom of the barrel.
Very beautiful truck, watched this video more than 15 times, also great music. Do you do a 9 inch lift with same tires an wheels? You know, I'll call instead.
What was the total height of this rig? I have asked a few other people and nobody has the answer. I bet nothing but lifts knows the answer. These guys know what they are doing !!!!
from what the roof or running board? just take a normal gmc add 7.5 inches on he has low pros on so am not sure but i would say a good 25 inch from ground to running boards with 24's
I have the Hostile Gauntlet. 3 out of 4 peeled within 5 months of owning them. Sent the 3 bad ones back and got 3 new replacement wheels. Now on my 3rd year with the wheels and have no issues. Chrome still looks perfect. I do throw a wax on for chrome and it seems to add some protection and adds more shine to them. The wax is called blue magic.
Hi there I have a 2017 gmc denali 3500hd. I was given a free 5 inch rough country lift the full kit brand new. How is the quality of this lift. Is it worth it to put it on will I expect lots of problems with this kit. All over internet people keep saying go bds cognito procomp and other brand. Im not thrown for a loop
its an ok lift ....you will run into a few problems though full kits is not the drive shaft it will need to be fitted again and steering box drop will need to be installed ..and brake lines will be ok but after time from not much slop in them they will crack
@@scottydouno8723I’ve had mine five years on this same truck. I put Fox 2.0s on it because RC shocks are garbage, but I’ve had zero problems and the truck rides great.
Me too man, I've got the Mccgauys set at 9 inches, 24x14 American Truxx Vortex with 37 inch Amp Mt's. I wanted these Nittos but they are like close to 2400 in that size. So I went with the cheapos but I cant complain so far. It's this tires size that makes it so perfect for a 24x14, its in between a 35 and 37 and 14.5 inches wide so u have no tire stretch. No other company makes a MT even close to that size. To me the perfect tire for a 24 would be a 36x14.00x24.
@@ziggy149I have the RC 7.5 on this same truck with 35x12.5x24. I immediately put the fox 2.0 shocks on it, but it’s been on for four years with zero issues and rides damn good. Let’s hear about your personal experiences with RC because you are very sensitive about the subject bud.
@@hscottcraig1 Very sensitive? Where in my brief and simple statement am I being sensitive? All I'm seeing is someone triggered that has the rough country system - i.e. "very sensitive". If you're happy with an inferior product then great. It's a budget option on a premium truck. Never understood that. Cognito for GM/Chevy and Carli for Ford/RAM - anything less and you're doing yourself a disservice.
Eli The Great I wouldn't really call this cheap with all the upgrades...fox shocks, diff drop, zone upper control arms. It's actually a very well rounded system.
your literally so stupid, that is such a clean truck and its not breaking the bank like a BDS suspension setup. IDK why people think RC is a bad company.
only thing i will say is when putting big lifts on ...and big tires why do none of you guys put the TIE ROD SLEEVES on it is a much or you will never keep it in line
People need to stop living in the past! RC has come a long way! Seriously! Why would u pay 3 times more for the same product.. i paid 1500 for same lift. It rides same as my buddies 3500 BDS.
@@seantokash8579 There's a BIG difference between riding "fine" and riding incredible. My truck rides fine as stock. If I'm going to spend money and risk someone f$cking up my ride, it better be because I'm having something installed that makes the truck ride amazingly well and is super comfortable.
I’ve had nothing fail on me on my truck it has survived many 4wheel drive launches it’s not like I’m jumping the damn thing for what I do which is towing beach driving road trips and hot dogging on the track it performs just fine
