I was born in MI but had to move to FL when I was 13. Since then i've always been a Michigan Superfan representing down here in central FL. That Outback Bowl game in Tampa was actually the very 1st game I was able to attend!.. It was truly amazing to finally get the chance to see the Wolverines in person..I will never forget hearing the fight song for the 1st time walking out of the tunnel to find my seat..Still gives me goosebumps to this day when I think about it..Now days I have a 7yr old son who is quickly becoming a huge Michigan fan and I can't wait to take him to his 1st game! GO BLUE!!!!!!

From a SBNATION article: "Denard was taken out of the game after rushing for 7 yards to setup a 1st-and-goal on the Nebraska 8-yard line with 4:44 left in the second quarter. Without Robinson, Michigan managed only a field goal on the drive and trailed Nebraska 7-6 at half." So Denard played a little over a quarter and a half, and Michigan was about to go up 10-7 when he was injured.

I remember that Western Michigan game like it was yesterday. I was a freshman that fall semester of 2011 and it was a 3:30 pm kickoff. I was drunk af stumbling down Hoover Ave but I made it in somehow and witnessed Shoelace's first snap fumble touchdown run. Then it started downpouring in the 3rd quarter which was just what everyone in the stands needed to wake up. Western put up a fight up until that weather delay then Denard, Taylor n the Boys blew the broncos out

That 2012 game was pretty good. It's true that the game might have gone differently if Denard hadn't gotten hurt, but Nebraska played that game without Rex Burkhead. At the end of the day you gotta play with what you got. It's impossible to know what would have happened in a world where injuries aren't a part of football. Much respect to everyone in the video. You guys were all great football players. Thanks for the video and for the stories.
